No, she’s right. Fitz is the worst.

I was so happy to see Fitz getting the ass kicking he has so desperately needed since, like, season 2. And it’s a shame that Marcus didn’t go back to the White House to tend to Mellie’s lily. She really could use a good gardener.

So...William went from “the bad man” last episode to “you’re in a risky job that might get you killed” this episode. Writing team really needs to figure out how smart this kid is.

I kind of got the feeling that Sara was taking it easy so as to prolong the flirt-fight session. She looked like she was having fun. Maybe it’s her version of letting your date win at bowling.

Sara casually terrorizing Gary the Time Agent in this episode was fantastic. I loved her holding a gun to his head while making him report in to Agent Hot Cakes. Sara is the beeeeest.

I was seriously annoyed about the robot grenade thing. All it is going to do is drop it straight down, Joe. Put your hand under it, toss it out the door & then dive to cover your witness. You may not be a super hero but you your brain now & then.

This felt exceptionally hokey, between the Looney Tunes car disassembly and the robot holding the grenade.

“What else can we say that we don’t usually say?”

The have similar styles/looks and premises (female centric and diverse) but I’d argue they’re very different shows. Janes about family, class, healthy romantic love and telenovas... Crazy ex is all mental illness and trauma and people being fucked up (Stupid Bitch summing up the series nicely)

I got the impression that the tremors weren’t the result of PTSD but rather a physical injury from the island that he’s hiding from the rest of the team.

Snark/Snart —> best typo ever.

My favorite thing in this episode: Mick casually calling Sara “boss” and all of the team members basically accepting her leadership.

Surely the writers will introduce someone faster than him shortly. It’s practically the only move in their playbook.

I somehow love that Alex is supposed to be this utterly unflappable professional who is currently essentially all about her emotions and personal life no matter the situation. As mentioned otherwise, this is such CW show that it is hilarious.

Katie McGrath is also smoking hot & was adorable trying to get Kara out of her shell in this episode, and sad expressing remorse that maybe Mon-El’s fate was her fault, which thankfully even shut-down-emotionally Kara didn’t seem to think.

Alex/Maggie: *Several minute heart-to-heart regarding both wedding planning and abandonment/daddy issues*

Olivia’s monologue was flat out insane and I can’t tell if the show wants us to envy her or think she’s gone off the deep end. It seems to alternate between wish fulfillment and watching the downfall of a narcissist.

This episode singlehandedly restored my faith in Scandal and it’s last season. I am here for it. I know Olivia is a monster, but seriously, watching a black woman yield her power and at least in this case use it for good? It was glorious? Am on my third rewatch and loving it!!!

She’s so good at playing bitches I have to wonder if she’s acting at all...
