the SSD in the faster R-MBP alone is like 400-500 ( Intel 512gb SSD).. then the cpu is like 300ish.. including the motherboard, the screen, the keyboard and trackpad, battery, ram, and assembling costs/ R&D... there is no way that this spec level will be 1000... no matter who made it
