I will admit, I'm impressed that this story is in the FP, I'm not used to see news about Brazil on papers around the world, although I'm sure the VW bit of the story was the responsible for it (because Jason). Mercedez-Bens is also under investigation, and many others too, like Ford and Chrysler. That was a terrible

In the spirit of the Chrysler of the late 60's/early 70's, they should make a Challenger Hellboy!

I wish the Colorado to replace the S10 here in Brazil. They are pretty much the same truck, but the Colorado looks SOOOOOOOO much better!

Seriously, with the increase on size of EVERY vehicle because of safety regulations, did you think the Ranger would escape? And it's still smaller than a F-150

It will be the platform of the dodge dart, because the vehicle they photografed is the "Grand Strada", the one they will build in Pernanbuco in 2015, along with the Jeep Renegade.

but the vehicle spied is not the strada, is the Grand Strada, the one they will build in Pernambuco when the factory gets completed.

the diesel engines for the car are 2.0, not 3.0

Don't be fooled by the photos, that isn't a nice wagon. Too high, even for Brazilian standarts (every car that comes to Brazil get the "tropicalization", wich is the adaption of the suspension to thougher roads, and the engine to a higher percentage of alcohol, 25%) and as Zurkka said, the interior is hideous

It will happen, but maybe not for the US.

The Strada is smaller than a Dodge Dart (the new one, note the old one). The car spied is the same size as the original S10 and Ranger, the Brazilian press call it the Grand Strada

Both strada and the vehicle that was show spied (wich is called by the Brazilian press Grand Strada, because it'll be bigger than the normal Strada) are much smaller than the Colorado. The "Grand Strada" will be the size of those old S10 and Rangers, wich I heard that were sold in America

where can I get one of these stickers??

Does anyone know where I can buy those headlights??

The São Bernardo do Campo, SP, Brazil factory of VW. Until last year, making the VW Bus basically "handmade". And also the factory that was making the Hindustan Ambassador. The best examples of factorys that never gets modernized.

I would prefer it to open the doors, so I can run the s**t out of there!!!

with the dolar worth 2.2 reais, the price of the T4 now is 43k, and will increase in this generation. Ranger, Amarok and the rest you can buy for 30k, but are the petrol/ethanol (flex) engines, not the best thing in the world

orly???

"But quickly after the deal went thru they've made some upgrades on the interior, engine tune ups, suspension settings and killed the gas engine. ( VW)"

well, it's a small production car, but most of the guys who bought one usually daily drive them too (mainly because it's expensive, not that it's a good beater). The casuals might love it too, it's a fun little car with a big heart. This new generation might be the one you want, 'cause a bit of it's chassis comes from

Nope, the engine will come from the Ranger, wich is:
