Doc Ock is commonly praised, but the appeal of Spidey's villains is how many of them are animal themed, much like the appeal of Batman's villains is how many of them are just insane.

Mark Waid's Daredevil run has some good Stilt-Man bits, even if it makes fun of him every time.
