I'm sorry, but I think this shows a really impressive screening process by Disney rather than some negligence on their part. 35 out of 300,000 when you know every child predator in the world would list Disney as their ideal job? Kudos to them.

The numbers reported by CNN represent one one-hundredth of one percent of the 300,000 people we have employed during this time period.

I think this is the sentence that felt the most biased- "Whatever the truth of the situation, the whole thing reads a little like, "I'm sorry if you thought I sexually assaulted you, but I definitely did not."" It sounds like you are accusing him of mansplaining

I look forward to seeing what sort of karma I get for my winning response to "I never understood _____ until I encountered ________". I put down the cards for "eugenics" and "Make A Wish Foundation".

Whatever one thinks about the military, I'm inclined to believe his relationship with the Marines had little to nothing to do with what he did. Sorry, guys do this who've never served at all. I just don't think that learning to kill in the Marines means he wouldn't have harmed/killed her if he hadn't.

i'll say this right now. He was no Marine. He was no soldier.

Obviously this guy is a very disturbed individual. That much is blindingly clear, and he deserves to go away for a very long time, if not for life. That said, you didn't clarify whether or not he was actually found guilty on that attempted rape charge. Things like that tend to disqualify people from being eligible

I can't wait because I know that Gawker is going to do a side by side comparison b/w Preserve and GOOP and we all WIN when that happens.

Good thing i am a guy and no one is rude to me. Every comment in youtube, begins good day to you sir and ends with cheerios my old friend.

"Without a genre" is a really nice spin on "meaningless".

I think you always throw controversial lines that have nothing at all to do the with topic to up your page views and comment section. You wouldn't need to do this if you were a better writer, but you probably get bonus if a certain percentage of articles have 6 figures views.

maybe we just want to look pretty for ourselves? Maybe I just fucking love my boobs and feel like wearing a dress that gives them a little fresh air?

Hmmmm...I don't recall saying that. I recall saying that people who comment on YouTube videos are the worst of the worst of internet commenters and ignoring the comments section is your best bet. Check out this comment for Pitbull's World Cup song (the first comment there)

When will we as a group admit that youtube comments are worthless and just turn them off? No one uses the comment section to produce real dialogue right? Vloggers push out their content on other platforms like twitter/tumblr/wordpress etc that allow for a better moderation of comments and cultivation of conversation.

"Lack the upper body strength for construction" Women? We either mean it when we say body shaming and societally defined gender roles suck or we don't. This is like making fun of a woman for not having "child-bearing hips".

I spent my whole childhood listening to my mom comment on the looks of women who appeared on the news. I asked her to try to stop recently because I don't want that kind of thing around my hypothetical future daughter.

men who probably lack the upper body strength to work construction

*ahem* That, madame/sir, is a Thomson's gazelle.

If you couldn't suss it out from the fact that she had tickets to the World Cup, girl has money (well, her parents do, probably). You have to pay a shitload to fly to Africa and hunt their endangered or threatened species, you know.
