Don’t forget women friends who make a plan with you, then “bump” you when a better plan comes up. This is middle school stuff. (I make it sound like this happens to me all the time; it’s not, it’s just one friend who is soon to be an ex-friend.)

Making it about you:

My wedding experience has driven one thing home to me: no wild cards giving toasts. You know your posse. You know their tendencies. If there is a person who you think might give an inappropriate or cringe-worthy toast, don’t invite them to give one. My friend cut out the best man and maid of honor toasts from her

I cannot imagine caring so much about a floral centerpiece that I get in a fight about it.

Honest question: what exactly do you think you’re contributing with a comment like this?

Pig ! dog ! loaf of bread !

“Missed the point. Caloric density matters. Eating chicken thighs vs chicken breast to the same level of satiety will still result in about 300 kcal extra. From the same amount of food.”

“Except that is really different depending on the food. I can eat 1,000 kcal of chocolate chips and still be hungry.”

Yeah, eating until I’m not hungry anymore did not work for me...but counting calories so I figured out what it felt like to actually have eaten enough did.

My long list of “gimmicks I’ve tried in order to get healthy” does include noom. It worked well at first and some of the hacky mind thingies were useful, but man, they just flood you with them. So much reading and engagement. My problem isn’t that I don’t consume enough online content, it’s that I consume too much

Thankfully I’ve always liked most veggies just steamed or raw, that helped me a lot when I needed to lose weight.

I definitely still eat until my plate is clean, I just try and put less on it in the first place. At dinner I do allow myself to reload on vegetables as much as I’d like to, I just try and control the meat and carbs. Like a lot of people carbs are my absolute favorite. I also found that actually making vegetables

The thing about “eating until you aren’t hungry anymore” is that it changes based on how much you are used to eating, or at least it does for me. I made some lifestyle changes at the end of summer in order to get my health in order. The biggest component were changes to both the content and quantity of my diet. I did

I laughed when I read you drifted away from Keto as you got active. The amount of people I have trained who have the exact same story as you is getting quite long. Awesome work, honestly you’re the perfect example of what to do. Find activity you love and do it, activity really helps regulate weight via satiety

Eat until you’re not hungry anymore, not until you’re full. Do not snack unless it’s on veggies. Don’t eat lots of carbs but don’t cut them out entirely...when you go to McD’s get a cheeseburger and a small fry and stop eating the fries if you finish the burger before the fries.

You are not doing anything wrong. At all.
I’m gonna share my experience in case any of it might help you.

My worst nightmare is being trapped in an elevator with a vegan empath.

People in the spectrum also likely experience cognitive empathy more than anything else — you can tell because when someone discusses an experience, they will also share their own experience as a way to show they have gone thru something similar — but, at times, other people see this as a narcissistic trait — when in

Lottery tickets are just fine to give.

Some people think cash is tacky but I would gladly take it over anything on this list. Helping me pay my bills is far more appreciated than a gift I will throw away, re-gift, or just keep out of obligation. Put your thoughtfulness into the message you write on the card instead of the gift. If your personal self-worth
