I just hope they don't use this as a reason to make the next ff Kingdom Hearts style fighting system or something completely ridiculous. There are loads of people who dislike turn-based (command) combat, but there are loads who like it too, and seeing as the previous games have done pretty well for years (in the West

Everything they say is true. The only difference (I think) is that McDonalds burgers are covered in salt. I like that, but there is clearly tons of salt on there. Salt is a pretty well known preservative, hence, burger doesn't mould as quickly.

If they don't want people to cheat achievements (I personally don't care at all about them, but seems they're very important to some) they should just disable them when cheats/trainers are used. That's what GTA4 did when you used any codes.

@Jezuz: I think the entire point is that they don't want it to just be concise and to the point, which is why there isn't a score in the first place. The whole style of their reviews (both this new one and the previous) is intended to make you read the actual thing, get a bigger picture idea, and understand the

@Timmy: I think I might love you. Just thought I'd let you know.

@her0_0f_time: I'm wondering if there are euphemisms or narcotics at work here.

@gemcosta: The tl;dr is referring to the article linked, which is proceeded by "My reasoning is here:", not to the first line.

@reginald: I've never thought of it that way, but it's true (for the most part). I don't feel the same about many of the DS games, they often seem more like they are meant to be handheld games in the first place, but for the PSP I would have prefered Valkyria 2, Peace Walker, Birth by Sleep, Crisis Core and others

@DocSeuss: I can't reply to you on the proper thread, so I'm just going to do it here. Seems like other people are having the same problem, because there are comments to you just posted on their own.

@bogenbroom: I'm assuming that you're generally joking in this post, but I don't really know, a lot of people do think like that.

@battra92: Have to say, I have no idea why you would want the story of FFXIII without playing the game. The story is truly awful, the combat system is actually quite fun. Only thing I liked about it.

@Hanchen Lu: Thanks for the response. I can see that it would be impossible to recognise every comment that is reasonable, whereas trolls and stupid comments are pretty easy to spot and quickly deal with.

So are all the new powers negative? Most educational research says that positive reinforcement is more effective than negative.

Apparently Nokia sold over 100 million devices in 2000. I'm surprised the handheld market survived all those people playing snake!

I think one big thing they don't consider here is the number of sales in Japan. America is definitely important to Nintendo, but these figures seem to decide that it's the most important market of all. The sales are not as close in any European country, and in Japan we generally hear of the DS selling insane

@VicariousShaner: I love Zero Punctuation, but I think it's crazy that some people use his videos as reviews. The entire point is that he rants, it isn't meant to be take as a serious discussion of the pros and cons of a game.

I never really get the commenting madness that goes on on forums (and here). The best I can assume is that people presumably want others to read their comments, but have no interest in reading anyone elses.

@Spdyrel: Pretty sure that's launching in 2011. Sorcery isn't until quite late either.

@Shinta: I already have a Wii, and I am expecting the same thing to happen in the long run if I get Move, which is that it will sit around for long periods while I play normal ps3 games, but occasionally will have something really fun that reminds me why I got it (although each long waiting period does make me

I'm finding the Move a bit annoying at the moment, solely because I actually want one, but there is nothing at launch that I can see that justifies getting one.
