I’m glad somebody wrote about this. My average basal temp is 97.6. Unfortunately it’s not concretely in my medical chart because my temp registers more like 98.2 or similar because I’ve been active or had a heater in my lap for the last hour -_-. But I’m constantly cold (as evidenced by the heater in my lap) and I

When you are a temp (at least where I am) your pay *is* increased because the temp agency does not offer medical/dental/vision insurance. It was kind of nice, actually. I felt like I was getting paid way above my grade lol

Exactly. They also seem to forget that places like Finland that offer universal care, take about 1/2 of people’s paychecks in order to do so. I’m assuming it’s also taxes for other things, but I digress. No one would be happy about halving their income here, especially with the abysmal federal minimum wage vs

You are technically correct. The best kind of correct

I don’t have a crappy VPN. My IP shows where ever I decide to connect to. But even if I connect to England or Japan or whatever, I still only get USA Netflix. However, my google results will come back in the native language. So I know it’s working.

HOW??? I tried this with my VPN and got nothing. I can still log into Netflix just fine, but I only got my North American content. I figure since you have an account with a north american address they wouldn’t be that stupid.

Yeah, I tried a VPN to try and get stuff from England, but you know, I’m logged in under my North American account with a WA State billing address so pretty sure they’re smarter than that (in other words, no. I couldn’t get European Netflix). VPN’s DO work the other way, though. If you’re traveling in Europe you can

I waited until the very last day of the “free upgrade” period before updating to Win10. I lost 1-2 programs that refused to work in Win10 and that pissed me off because I had to buy their updated versions. (like, I was running Photo Elements 7 or something, and I had to buy Photo Elements 10 or whatever). And Fraps

I’m not sure why the ice is necessary. I use a silicone ring, not put my pan on blazing burn, and put a lid over it. It kind of steams itself at that point.

hmmm, if sour cream works instead of heavy cream, I wonder if Greek Yogurt works in place of sour cream. I usually replace sour cream with it anyways. Obviously it would have to be full fat...

I made sure that when I first started dating that anyone I got into anything with knew my hard limit of no children. I’ve never been one to bullshit around, and I don’t want either of us to waste our time getting serious if we end up losing each other later over the children thing. It’s a pointless waste of time and

I thought about foreign rate exchanges when I needed to travel to Canada. Turns out, you can use your bank card to make the puchases and they take the exchange rate out and don’t charge any foreign transaction fees. (with BECU, anyway). I was also able to just take money out of a Canadian ATM without fees

I switched to an online only bank a few years ago (Simple). While I *do* have to deal with the hassle of not having a branch, it hasn’t been that horrible because I also use BECU. I’m a Xennial who abhors cash, so if I ever receive any, I’m like “what am I supposed to do with this? I can’t pay bills with this!”

yup

lol

I say we should keep overestimating everything. If we change the calories of nuts, people will be like “Ok, I’ll eat a whole bowl!!” and then = obesity. lol I’m being kind of facetious but you get my point.

Breakfast is generally the easiest when it comes to fasting however, because you’ve already essentially “fasted” for 8-12 hours since your last meal from sleep. Science has generally come to a consensus that 16+ hours of no food is “fasting”; in the state of which the glucose has been used up for energy and your body

I think “stock” sounds incomplete because stock is usually an ingredient base of a recipe, and not something you would use on your own.

The issue I have is that it’s called Bone BROTH and “broth” is defined as a liquid derived from the meat of an animal - not the bones. So it’s a completely contradictory name and therefor confusing.

I dislike Dr. Oz but in certain use cases, he’s pretty much spot on I think. Of course, people who work out need more calories etc and people like Mark Wahlberg who have a professional dietitian and physical trainer, know how to follow specific diets in order to maximize benefits. It’s not for everyone. But if you
