honestly, drinking an uncomfortable amount of water is pretty much the only thing that will either prevent one or “cure” it. Since hangovers are caused by dehydration, the only way to fix it is water. I mean sure, you can drink pedialyte or Gatorade, but water is free.

It’s difficult to get a decent night’s sleep after drinking, period. You may THINK you slept like a log, but your REM cycles get disrupted and you generally feel worse the next morning.

i mean, yeah exactly. But if those were my only 2 options, I knew I wasn’t getting $125. And if I did, it wouldn’t be for like, a year. And in the meantime, i’m PAYING for credit monitoring because they fucking suck. So, like, the lesser of 2 evils, I suppose.

I’m glad I picked the free credit monitoring instead.

uhhhhhh drinking a cocktail in the morning? If that’s something you’re constantly thinking about, you might have a problem. (that is, if your ‘morning’ is when you wake from sleep)

I’ll grab the popcorn when I hear the ADA scream about lack of access for disabled folks because they can’t come out of their house to grab their groceries.

It’s not if, like the article stated, it was listed in the menu.

Some restaurants want to make this as transparent as possible for consumers. It shows that they care about the employees and they are supplying insurance benefits.

lol. just lol.

I can see both sides, kind of. Because yes, when you are hired you agree that they can fire you for ANY REASON. But also, free speech. I’m getting irritated with reading all these stories about people being fired for personal things they’re doing in their personal lives (that are completely reasonable things, like a

it doesn’t take any additional time in comparison to moo milk. It’s just a different substance poured from a different container. It’s upcharged because it costs more than moo milk. And it shouldn’t - but it’s still a niche product and it will take a long time for prices to drop of “specialty” milks.

This was the first and [kind of] only FF game I ever played, so I have nothing to compare it to (I purchased FF-X later because I kept hearing how amazing it was and I was like... okay? And never finished it). So I’m looking at this game from non-fangirl eyes. I really liked it. I liked the characters, the art was

This is true. But if you want to go for new, you basically need to look at the wattage it uses/makes, and don’t just look at Kitchenaid mixers. You’re paying for the name brand of mixers, essentially. The 250w Kitchenaids, that handle light tasks, cost the same as my 500w Breville stand mixer. And Breville makes high

Our clinic literally just upgraded to chip readers for copay transactions (the pcp’s have had them for several months if not a year - but specialty clinics are last on the list)

Yeah but Costco employees also don’t get paid minimum wage. They’re paid well and get benefits most of the time. They’re generally happy, compared to convenience store employees, anyway. Still less likely it would happen there.

youtube needs this in its app. i know its counter-intuitive, but I’m playing old Linus Tech Tips WAN shows and they do pretty well as a podcast. But when I’m in my car I end up having to stream the video over 4G instead of just the audio.

So, 1. We get to suffer due to gas station worker’s incompetence. Always fun.

This is true, I was just listening about this topic the other day on a podcast. I do make sure that I don’t purchase anything from idealshape unless I have a coupon code since i don’t *need* their products - I can wait until they offer a decent sale or I get a good Honey code (most often I can get them to stack).

good point lol

LinusTechTips did an awesome sponsor spot for T-Mobile regarding the state of 5G network in Manhattan. Anyone that is angry regarding 5G should watch it. Its coverage is pretty deplorable even in the best of conditions. And it won’t get any better. They could add 10 5G towers to a corner but as long as you’re under an
