well the articles state that there is only a maximum amount of protein the body can use at any one given time, and I think that number was around 30g. so if you consume more than 30g at one sitting, the body will just store the rest as fat.

I read somewhere (from a couple different sources, I think) that too much protein will be stored as fat. So I get worried about it. I’m trying to lose weight, but I also give plasma 1-2 times a week. My protein levels are checked every time, and it’s the only thing that I ever get deferred over. I weigh 180lbs, and

this is exactly what I would use it for

That is definitely the definition of being an introvert. Luckily, I live alone (for now) so I can use my afternoon to recharge. I get 90% of my social interaction from the internet (well, I did before I met my current bf). I honestly don’t bother to chat with my co-workers most of the time. I don’t feel like I need

Well you’re obviously an asshole and I don’t want to talk to you anyway.

seriously tho

I live in WA state. For some reason, I fear the whole damn crop will be exported and I won’t see any on store shelves here. Although I have heard of them in passing, I have never seen a batch.

the “added sugar” line actually helps me make very informed decisions. It’s not that 50g of natural sugar is any better for me than 50g of ADDED sugar and i know this, but any company that ADDS sugar on top of sugar I don’t need to give my money to unless I just don’t care in the moment. But for the routine

I absolutely love Gary Chapman’s Love Languages. I’ve only been with my current beau for 8 months but when you know they’re the one, you know, you know? He is Words of Affirmation first, and I am Quality Time first. It really makes him feel good when I compliment him - but it is not my first love language; I really

Oh I’m sorry, did our conversation end weirdly and now there’s silence? Oh well. /walks away

Podcast list: blab blah (apple) *scroll scroll* (apple) scroll (APPLE). pointless article, thanks.

totally agree. I was confused just reading about it. I was like “so it controls the temp? No? Wut.”

Thanks for the app recommendations. I’ve been meaning to log all my stuff but wasn’t sure the best way to go about it. This will make it easy!

Fatigue is a strange thing. I can get a slump mid-morning sometimes and I attribute it to my coffee/caffeine because my breakfast is carbless. But then I can also get really tired after lunch, which is a homemade salad mix with chicken breast and onions, like, it’s pretty carbless too. Sometimes drinking water helps

OMG YOU’RE A GENIUS. Yes, coconut water is not cheap in large quantities like that but omg who cares. Add coconut flakes and cocoa nibs and then it’ll taste like the cold brew kit Starbucks (used) to sell.

lol yeah, so my digits get sliced way easier lol I know the logic of having a sharp knife, but dull knives won’t slide through my nail like half melted butter. It’s always onions. They’re slippery little devils that require a lot of finesse.

during the 2009 recession, i got let go (they fired me to save themselves money but I was laid off) and I was looking for work for almost 9 months (I don’t have a college degree). I had started sending out little thank you notes to my interviewers (hand written, of course) just as an added thing to get me noticed

Something about refilling my Java something something.

I need to start using the used brain joke. this is clever.

I agree, I used to think that “not going to bed angry” was the best solution but not everybody fits into that mold. For example, my current bf will say that he wants to hang out with someone else on his day off instead of me, and although that’s a perfectly reasonable thing, I would still be upset because I wanted to
