I need a calculator for this.

My bf is gonna hate me for posting this so hopefully he never finds out (lol), but on our 2nd or 3rd date, we went to a sushi restaurant where I promptly found out that he has “textural issues” with certain foods. He was willing to try the raw tuna nagiri (for me, apparently), but after a sour face and 1/2 second, he…
lol
now, I trust Alton Brown almost explicitly, but I DO wonder about the sous vide episode he just did on Good Eats: The Return. He seared the roast and then plopped it into the bag... however I’ve read (and science tells me) that heat expands, therefore you would not get a good vacuum seal on a pre-seared piece of meat,…
I go shortly after they open before work or after costco closes at 830. never lines.
Never thought about it before but you’re totally right. Will be doing that from now on!
2nd everything here, but especially the “get used to touching your eyes” bit. I used to watch my bf take his hard contacts in and out and would just cringe and be like “how..?” it only took about 10 years of constant glasses-wearing (from middle school) to get sooo annoyed with glasses that I finally decided to try…
So... absolutely no benefit over glasses, then. In fact, now worse than glasses because they take time to put in and take out. I wore Night & Days for years. I loved them because they were monthlies that you could sleep in and wear for basically 30 days straight. I wore them for MUCH longer than that. I wore them…
is 4k really worth the extra cost? I just bought an LG nanocell TV and it is gorgeous. HDR content looks amazing. But what do I need to watch in 4K/HDR? I see Lucifer is in HDR but why...? I mean, does it really make that much of a difference if I’m not watching Planet Earth?
this is also true with tomatoes but if you buy a pack of 6 avocados and only use 1 every couple of days, it’s worth it to extend the life in the fridge.
I like rgb because i can make it static if i want, so i can do a single color build if i so desire, or i can go crazy and have it flashing ALL THE COLORS. #choices
“throwing it in the dryer” shouldn’t even be on this list. I’m pretty sure 99% of the population already knows this, and I bet you 30% don’t have washers and dryers in their homes (like me) so it’s not really an option.
I just ordered one, I’m excited to try it!! The code only works if you sign up; they will email a welcome code that gives $20 off.

I’ll be switching from intel to AMD in a couple of months for the very first time (in my PC building history) and I’m freaking out slightly over this change from having the pins on the mobo to being on the cpu instead. So many horror stories about bent pins are making me nervous!
lol wow this needs to be updated (was included in an “ultimate PC building guide”) NCIX doesn’t even exist anymore.
I would love to make a home theater pc or plex server with my old parts, but I won’t be replacing *everything*, I would still need to add a graphics card, a power supply, an SSD or hdd, and a case (for an ATX mobo) and at that point I might as well buy a nuc or something.
That’s so messed up that there are physicians out there that won’t give a woman with no children an IUD. I got one without issue about 5 years ago after Obamacare set up free birth control options. Even though I work for - and see - a Catholic Health clinic (CHI Franciscan), my PCP is not limited to their point of…
I’m proud of that decision they made to not be gagged under this new ruling. I’ve decided to contribute monthly to help offset the cost. They helped me once when I was low income, and I hope they can still make it without the federal funds.
thank you, awesome math person.
I dont know if it would work but I would try coconut flour!! It’s *extremely* absorbent, however, so I don’t know if it would help or ruin in this case.
