Agreed as well. When it comes to household items I will usually go with what is cheapest unless there’s a specific reason not to. Kirkland brand at Costco is pretty bomb, though. Electronics are a bit different though. In many cases, cheaper will mean lesser quality. Not always, but sometimes.

Its hard not to be loyal to Apple vs Microsoft because the their ecosystem is closed. Mac has its own OS, Apple has its own chargers, etc. You can’t easily switch from one to the other, nor do they make it easy to have a Mac and a Windows phone, for example.
