yes! and it doesn't help that sizing is not standard. it's like playing a game that you just can't win. ever.

This is such an important question, and one that I wish I had addressed more in the piece—it's definitely something I plan on writing about more in the future. The short answer is that I'm scared. And I'm a hypocrite. My goal (personally and professionally, especially through Dress Profesh) is to someday be confident…

ALL MY DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE
Thanks! message me on social media @dressprofesh or @katiemanthey and let's talk more :)
oh, thanks so much! i can totally relate to the "i look like a normal person" thing. it's been a long process for me—going from trying to get my body to fit into clothes that i felt like i "should" be wearing to instead hunting down clothes that fit my body instead. best of luck with your coworkers :)
yeah—it took me years (and multiple sizes) to finally realize that clothes are meant to fit the body, not the other way around.
my pleasure! :D
In the meantime, you are invited to snap a picture and write for www.dressprofesh.com :D
I love the idea that this might be a sort of ad hoc uniform...that might be another research project ;)
SUBMIT THAT PHOTO TO DRESSPROFESH RIGHT NOW <3
I know what you mean! I actually have two of the polka dot shirts in my closet. When I find something good, I buy multiples. Half of Old Navy's women's section is currently in my closet :)
Thanks!! It can be really powerful to see similar bodies. Have you checked out http://www.mybodygallery.com/?
ha! I think it's less the work of potions and more the work of a good Afterlight filter. that could be its own article...
No—my partner and I lived there for two years, and now we are back in Michigan. We really miss the Cle, though.
Thanks!! <3
