It was nice to see an actual film critic throw some shade at The Polar Express.

And if it made another $100 million, it might have actually broken even.
Not sure it’s fair or entirely accurate to call a film that pulled in 660 million dollars worldwide (Justice League) a dud. You might not have /liked// it.
Perhaps not so much of late, but back in the day every car crash in movies or on TV involved an explosion. Drove off a cliff? Explosion. (Occasionally in mid-air. FTW? WTF!?!) Drove into a wall? Explosion. Drove into a tree? Explosion. Crashed into another car? Explosion. Hit by lightning? Explosion. Slammed the door…
I would say it depends on whether you are effectively using the clutch as a brake pedal (slipping it to match speed) or letting it out quickly and then using engine braking. Using the clutch to slow the car to match engine speed would likely not be a good thing for clutch longevity. Matching quickly and coasting…
.....I know? Coasting in gear = engine braking. If you’re engine braking the clutch is fully engaged, not slipping, and not wearing.
When coasting in gear you aren’t wearing the clutch. If you rev match (as I do) there’s a near-zero amount of slip.
Doesnt hurt the engine from what I've heard, saves brake pads, important skill in controlling a car. Depending on traction I’ll use engine braking, my brakes or a combination. Downhill in snow almost always engine braking only and picking the gear depending on how slippery or steep the hill is. It's kept my from…

It’s fine. Less wear on the brakes. Since the engine is running and oil is moving around you’re not causing any undue wear on the engine. In my car the injectors shut off during engine braking so if I have a long time to decelerate I will let the car do the work. Plus learning how to properly engine brake is a…
Turn the GM plants into Mazda plants, and build the Mazda 3 in those plants.
After that, Moet introduced a Champagne specifically made for Bill Murrays:
“But the way I like to drink champagne is I like to make what we call a Montana Cooler, where you buy a case of champagne and you take all the bottles out, and you take all the cardboard out, and you put a garbage bag inside of it, then you put all the bottles back in and then you cover it with ice, and then you wrap…
You’ve missed your calling! 🤣
Makes you wonder why more auto makers don’t brand booze.
You’re on the right track. Nobody loves free shit like rich people.
If Scotch isn’t old enough to vote I’m not interested.
