Clearly, he wasn’t actually a humanitarian.

Because he was Dr. Huxtable.

Oh, I know. Just enough do so that it’s still a problem. Through time and education the better things will get.

I, as a trans person, can go on for days about how much I hate Jenner, and how she’s being pushed as the Transgender Ambassador to the cisgender world. She’s a horrible, horrible person for that.

Tell me about it. It’s kind of like outrage fatigue, but more like sadness fatigue. I get to hear about this all the time and I decided that, on the whole, sometimes it’s good to take care of yourself and just kind of be a hermit for a week or two to get away from it all. After all, the awful world will be there when

To many people we aren’t, and that’s part of the problem. If you don’t see us as ‘real’ then it becomes so much easier to abuse and murder us.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again.

Right. Like you said. Casual players don’t count for anything. They have no impact on the gaming industry whatsoever, and just because there’s something that caters to them, it’s, by definition, unimportant.

Hard to do, because when you’re busy focusing on kills, the other team is focusing on objectives, which will give them a huge base advantage. You can really tell when a player is from LoL or DotA when, if you’re fighting for an objective, you run away to deny them a kill, they rush after you half way across the map

Yeah. Any game that you have to spend a couple of days researching how to play before you can actually play is very, very gatekeeperish. It’s why LoL and DotA2ers hate HotS because it let’s the rabble play and enjoy their precious sport.

Right, right. I forgot. Casual players don’t count for anything.

I doubt that’ll ever happen. LoL has a steep learning curve, which means that there’s an air of elitism that you’re not going to get with HotS. To them, HotS is too easy. The map objectives takes away from the “true skill” of the game, or something.

Because it removes a lot of the roadblocks that keep casual players from enjoying MOBAs, which brings more players into the genre?

Indeed. This is why I enjoy HotS far more than I ever did LoL and DotA2. Then again I’m also one of those dirty casual players that everybody scoffs at and hates, so it’s nice to find a MOBA that’s tailored and welcoming to somebody like me.

Hey guyz! GoG Galaxy > Steam! Really! It is! See all the exclamation points? It means I’m totally serious!

So, a couple of points to address. First, Bruce isn’t changing his identity. He’s adjusting his presentation to align to the identity that he’s always had (and yes I’m still using male pronouns, and his male name until he tells us otherwise). Secondly, we really, really don’t like the word transsexual. It implies

Woot! You go girl!

Jersey. The issue isn't finding a place. The problem is feeling like a freak show attraction if I did it.

Sure, I don't mind. The biggest problem that I have is that out of makeup it's still very easy to clock me as trans since I haven't been able to get rid of my beard shadow, so it'd be really obvious when I walk in.
