i wish them the most miserable outcomes of both their relationship and their lives and life’s work.

i just want her to get a cute haircut that deals with her hair loss. then i want her to thank feminism for everything she has, and then i want her to go far away, never to return.

always deeply grateful to my grandparents for leaving that country in 1927.

how deranged! is this to appeal to your hyper christians, are they against halloween? Canadian conservatives ran attack ads mocking Justin Trudeau for having such nice hair and we bounced them out of power rather soundly. the right wing of our 2 nations are simply batshit.

nailed it!

No! Oh my god, really!? i thought he was about 15 years older than me not THREE!

well, you kinda had to be there! :)

Wearing pearls was a big thing in the early 1980s amongst male club kids, straight, gay, bi, etc. At first it was inspired by Robert Smith of The Cure, and in the later 80s it was an homage to the House of Chanel.

everyone looks like a hot mess!

because she didn’t want to be a parent! another sensible Canadian girl like me ;)

Will wins because he’s Canadian and actually dressed for the weather and not pap shots. the girl is a fool in those shoes, lol.

i have no idea who this fella is and i’m ok with that!

much love to your dad for coming here under sad circumstances and then being exploited in such a manner. it was a tragic and shameful time in our history.

my family left Belfast for Canada in 1927 and it has been really easy to trace backwards with a lot of detail. i’ve gone back as far as 1690 when we left

is that from the linked GQ article? i’m having a bit of difficulty clicking thru’ to read anything written by someone named TAFFY.

i’m so confused by your comment! do you mean it’s impossible to be less than middle class if you can trace your ancestry past your great grandfather? does this only apply to British people? knowing my family tree going back to 1690s Northern Ireland makes me middle class even tho’ i’m poor af?

i also might have balked at first for the same reasons, but my dad enrolled me asap, starting in kindergarten. we were also “twinned” with a private all boys school, and we did many activities together, field trips, dances etc. and of course i was friends with the boys in my neighborhood. if she knows she can

i think it’s so worth it! not only does it keep girls from being ignored by teachers in favour of boys, it eliminates the “negging” that most boys seem to fall into by the time they’re 9 years old or so. i transitioned to public school in grade 10 and had no problems dealing with boys; i was so confident by then that

private all girls school for the win in this regard. it never occurred to me that boys might be smarter than girls during my time at Balmoral Hall School for Girls. we considered ourselves capable in any field we were interested in and this was the grossly misogynist 1960s and 70s that i was a private school student.

yah it’s still pretty fucking terrific here and now that we have climate change the winters aren’t as bad, heh. well. except in Alberta but that’s where the vast majority of our racists, misogynists, homophobes, anti-immigrants are. mother nature loves to punish them at this time of year.
