I was watching CNN last week when her parents were on the phone. They seemed sure she was ok but they just hadn't heard from her. They had reached the school where she was teaching and everyone had been accounted for but her. The school survived the quake and was being used for a shelter.

As I said up thread one other child and me had fairly bad asthma and couldn't be around bleach or ammonia or perfumes. This would have impeded on our education and well being.

I was wondering what kind of chemicals they were using to clean the desks because her peanut allergy would have affect those with severe asthma. I always had to leave the room because it was a trigger for me and another kid in my class.
