Hahaha. I grew up in Alaska, and all the Alaskans on my facebook feed are like “it’s about time!” on this whole Mckinley —-> Denali business. I always called it Denali. Bristol is ridiculous and being contrary just to be contrary.

Nice - mine was “Absurdity of Fjords”
Just FYI, it was Giselle Bundchen.
It’s cosmically unfair, and she has such a rad life. But I can’t hate her because she seems so open and real and fun.
Reducing my food waste is a goal that I set for myself this year. I had to adjust to only shopping for one, post-divorce, and wasn’t doing a great job of using things up before they went bad. It was really sickening once I started to pay close attention to everything I was throwing away. Extrapolating my own food…
Seriously. I have no skills that will elicit a thank you note from RBG. This makes me sad.
Everything I read about her makes me cackle with glee. She is a complete badass and my personal hero.
I'm at about 6 months out with Paraguard and things are definitely calming down and normalizing, thankfully. Obviously, YMMV, but it can happen (as opposed to the longer timeframe that some other commenters have endured).
Didn't the series finale have Vince running off and getting married? I did not not see Alice Eve in that trailer, so I am guessing the happily ever after went bust.
I got mine in July and for the first few months, it was definitely worse than I had previously experienced. But now it is mellowing out and returning to something close to normal for me in terms of duration and heaviness. So give it a few months and it may balance out.
I had no idea it was such an important day. Coincidentally, I ate peanut butter chocolate mousse for lunch. Definitely counts as comfort food. Chicken pot pie or mac and cheese certainly sound like good dinner options now!
This is just appalling and tragic. And guys wonder why women are afraid to speak up when we face street harassment. It's of small comfort to her family, I am sure, but she will be remembered as a hero.
Exactly. It's really only the delicate, rich ladies who have avoided manual labor throughout history. I'm pretty sure my female ancestors who were farmers didn't get a pass.
I think I would have a Kristen Bell-style meltdown if I got to hold a sloth at a wedding.
Completely. A woman alone in the woods with men - yep, I was expecting things to get dark. Instead, she got her Snapple and chips, which is clearly a much better outcome.
That is so horrifying. I feel queasy even thinking about it.
Oh wow. He has to force himself to "let" the women finish their sentences? What a cruel world. And what patience he demonstrates. A round of applause for the good sir.
Well, drat on my poor reading comprehension re: pho. In my defense, I went straight to the good stuff, aka your witty critiques of the nastiness that is borscht. Pistou soup is food of the gods - aka french vegetable soup with a hefty amount of pesto mixed in. And we're just going to have to remain in a stalemate…
I cannot pass up French Onion soup - it's perfection in a bowl. Yet, I feel this list is lacking in other ways. Where, for example, is soupe a pistou? Miso should be replaced by its Korean counterpart, doenjang chigae, because it's infinitely better and heartier. And have you never experienced the greatness that…
Sometimes you just need a chain restaurant. Not often, but it's kind of like Starbucks, you go because it's pretty tasty and consistent. I am a fan of Chevy's Fresh Mex - the little side of corn pudding(?) is the whole reason I ever go.
