I had no idea about that "rule". It's not supposed to be your family throwing you a baby shower?

I love the "not amused" expression. I see that on my chihuahua frequently, including the time I put him in a bee costume.
So perfect.
And this is why I would never want to be a celebrity. I like to keep my "fat pants" days private and off the front pages of gossip sites and magazine covers. Not to mention the fact that he looks totally fine.
Oh, I know! It made me all twitchy and disturbed. Reinforcing my "no space/suffocation movie" policy.
Ugh, yes. That too. Creepy as fuck.
Exactly, no submarine movies either. They always have "that scene" with the water filling...yuck, yuck, yuck. Can't even think about it.
I was curious about the wig concept, too. One of the links, to the blog Fashion-isha, had a post about the how modesty isn't about looking unattractive, but about creating privacy. So while you may have this beautiful wig on, the outside world still isn't seeing "you" and so it still preserves that privacy/barrier…
Oh, hell no. Not watching this. I'm sure it's really well done, etc...but movies about space and not being able to breathe always freak me the fuck out. Not even my girl Sandy and the Clooney can get me in the theater for this.
The only reason I would ever be against attending a drag show is because of how disheartening it is for me that all the Queens look about a million times hotter in a skirt than I do! I went to plenty of shows in college and would frequently run into the Queens in the restroom doing touch-ups and I was always in awe…
I seem to always really enjoy people that others can't stand. I guess I just like the company of slightly bitchy people who are actually pretty hilarious. If you swing a cocktail date with her, I'm totally tagging along!
I couldn't wipe the ridiculous grin off my face while watching this. I so very much heart Jeff Goldblum.
It definitely sounds like everything went as smoothly as it could possibly have when dealing with a tragedy like this. Amazing work all around, really.
I have a dear friend who is a resident up there and she has been at the hospital non-stop. The work they are doing is heroic and they cannot be commended enough, along with everyone who was at the scene and ran to help, whether medical professionals or not.
You tried your best....
Chang could be a bad romanization of a Korean syllable that I have usually seen romanized as Jang, and it's usually been a surname. But it's possible, though it seems to me that it would be uncommon to be a Korean female "first" name.
Generally, you are right. But my husband and his sister both had only 2-part names (and this was in Korea before they came to America and were given an "english" first name). And I have a couple friends in Korea who have 4-part names.
That was my second thought, the first being "what an absolute shit principal." But of all the colleges that would not only not care, but commend her calling out that whackjob of a speaker, Wellesley is way up there. He must be super insulated that think that every higher-education institution thinks the way he does.
I love how game she is to make super unflattering faces; she is pretty awesome. I'd totally want her as a friend.
Pho is my miracle cure. If I'm hungover, I want pho. If I'm sick, I want pho. Love it so much.
