Who said anything about firing someone at the school newspaper? You’re reading more into my comments than is there. What I’m saying is that I don’t like the board or district’s attitude of “there’s just nothing we could have done,” and that’s all I’m saying. My issue isn’t really with the school paper’s decision, as I

As a provisional teacher without an actual contract he wasnt going to be continuing at the school, likely that was part of his assholish motivation. My real problem with this isnt that it was published, I dont know what was behind or how they came to that decision. Its that anyone who could have stopped it is

I know a lot of people would share your view, my problem is with the school board basically throwing their hands up and saying were sorry youre hurt, but we couldnt have done anything about it.Thats bullshit. They could have, and if they dont know that, they shouldnt be on the board.

So blatantly a ripoff!

I do kind of wish the “kids’” editions of everything would stop taking over, though. Why not show that early afternoon, so the kids can watch it, and let me watch people in my own peer group do something, hmm, TV people?

Oh, yeah, because store credit on something I couldn’t afford, didn’t want, got pressured into buying, didn’t work and couldn’t return is exactly what I, as a customer (I am NOT “a consumer”) want.

Nope. Jordan Creek Mall in Des Moines (West Des Moines? Beaver Creek?) Iowa. I wish I didn’t realize we were probably not the only ones or even among the first ones to be afflicted.

My mother is currently feuding with Bathfitter. Literally, as just as I opened this comment, I put “Kendra, with Bathfitter” through to her office. (She wants the tub re-glazed, not the little plastic overlay that you clean with Windex.)

Argh! the massage people. DO. NOT. TOUCH. DO. NOT. WANT.

The Tiny House thing needs to die a slow, painful death, though. Maybe then it can get back to what it was supposed to be about which was not some Kon Mari spectacle of millennial living, but not having/taking/keeping more than you need. I remember when it was just starting to be noticed (I believe it was with a

I hope you answered “no, because I am an adult.”

Ugh, I hate the kiosk people so. goddamned. much. NO, Israeli nail product lady, you cannot take your rough ass sandpaper thing and “buff” all the polish off one of the nails I just had done, STOP ACCOSTING ME!

Clams only wish they could be so cheerful as scallops! Just look at that happy little guy in the first gif. Imagine the little tune he’s singing to himself.

And they look so damned happy when they do it. Somehow. Despite the lack of any sort of face at all.

You know theyre going to do the ice thing on the show. You know they will. I have never ever said this about a cancer storyline, but I cant wait! I wonder if Bird Bones will help out?

In this case, the actor is also one of the executive producers. I’m pretty sure that we can fault him. Him specifically.

Ah, thank you. I do not acronym well.

As long as there’s no lead in the chicken salad or mochi ice cream balls, IDONTCARE!

What is TH and MOC?
