I’m going to sound shallow, here, but their store design and aesthetics also appeal to me, a woman. I mean, not the discrimination against plus sized and trans women, or the itchy and uncomfortable bras, but the idea of a lingerie store as a fun, pretty place to shop instead of the grim underside of a store that

My cat used to do that, and then I figured out that what she wants is for me to pet her while she eats. She put up with me just standing there, but she loves it when I pet her while she eats. The other two cats do not agree that this is fun.

I love my dad and have a great relationship with him. He’s confessed over the years that for most of his life he worried that he wasn’t “good” at being a man. (He isn’t super into sports, the outdoors, or home repair. Or trying to out-macho other men.)

I am right with you on the stunts, but I’m going to be honest ... for me the final scene was a little too long. First he climbs into a flying helicopter, then there’s a chase, then there’s a crash, then there’s a fight scene which is great but that lasts forevvvver.

... At a restaurant? She’s just ordering food. I am 35, American and never in my life have I had to give my card before ordering food or anything else. I don’t know how it is in every restaurant in the world, but this is deeply hinky.

Depression is absolutely grounds to seek out help. Suicidal ideation is completely not necessary for depression to count as the problem it is. I can’t promise you that modern mental health services will fix all your problems, that would be a lie, but they may well improve your feelings and your life. It’s worth a try.

For most of us, yes, we don’t have to. I haven’t owned a pair of heels in my entire life and I’ve been just fine. But actresses generally have an image-based job where they’re expected to look “glamorous” nearly all the time - not to mention costumes. She’s probably worn an awful lot of uncomfortable shoes and clothes

No, see, this is totally normal and age appropriate for their personality types! It’s just that famous people usually have PR people to put a more respectable spin on it.

You know, this strikes me as less “staged for the press” and more “paparazzi caught you on your awkward first date”. Because I think if it were staged, it would be staged better, and that’s a really believable awkward first date scene. Like, it brings back memories of seventh grade.

I think the issue is less that they have large breasts and more that they are only wearing strategically placed straps over these large breasts. And then the creators claim they weren’t aiming for eye candy.

Well, I mean, obviously he’s going to need way more food than a normal-sized cat, especially while he’s growing. The trick is figuring out exactly how much.

Brush him a lot, and occasionally moosh him when you’re petting him to see if he’s getting fat or is just big-boned and hairy.

There just is no clear path to a fulfilling romantic relationship. There just isn’t. It would be awesome if there were, but there isn’t. Anyone who tells you different is literally selling something.

I think you’re right that a lot of men today are culturally discouraged from expressing deeper thoughts and emotions to other men, which makes it much harder to have deep, fulfilling friendships. I definitely think that men who make that leap, and try to be more open with other men (and people in general) are more

Exactly! What she’s describing here is an Ocean’s Movie. If it wasn’t too slick or perfect or easy to enjoy with men, it isn’t with women. I know I’m going to it!

Given that no one is saying he doesn’t like women, and he never said he was exclusively straight, it wouldn’t be retconning. But hey, this hasn’t even actually happened in a movie or a comic or a book, so chill?

Well, it’s nice that he didn’t go into heterosexual panic and declare that Lando was CLEARLY STRAIGHT DAMMIT!!!!!

It’s..... a story? A story that often includes some flirtation or romance? It’s not super wildly important, but hey, why not, for a lot of us it would be nice. It wouldn’t do necessarily hurt the story any more than straight romances.

Well, I mean, who said anything about a sex scene? If we have straight humans romancing each other, and a straight human / alien couple (Kanan and Hera), why not some less straight, equally PG-worthy romance or flirtation?

I wonder where I fit into this paradigm, and I wonder how many other fans are like me on this. I loved Rogue One, I really liked The Force Awakens, and while there were bits of The Last Jedi that I didn’t like, I felt it was a flawed but good movie.
