That’s what I did! I paid off all debt, I use my credit card to build up points, I pay that off every month, I’m (slowly) building my emergency and HSA funds. It feels GREAT to be debt free.

This, this, this - a thousand times this!
Of course you should use emergency savings to pay off credit card debt!!! If an emergency comes up, the newly available credit can always be drawn down again and you’re in no worse a position than when you started.
I did exactly this!!! My thinking was if I have an emergency, the credit card I just paid off has zero balance (plus the emergency money you still have) so I’m covered. Otherwise you’re paying interest to the bank on the card while your saving just sits there not accumulating any interest of it’s own for you (but the…
The only time I would even think about not paying that debt is if the work situation was very unstable, otherwise it woulda been paid yesterday.2 grand still covers a lot of emergency
I think it depends on your life circumstances.
Do you remember the scene from State and Main about this very thing? It was so brilliant! Sarah Jessica Parker’s character has decided that she needs an extra $700,000 to do a nude scene in the movie they are making, and while Johnathan Katz’s character is scrounging up the money and flying into the small New England…

Well, maybe it’s just the roles she’s offered. I don’t watch movies on release, but of the most recent modern films in my Netflix — Lion, Jupiter Ascending, The Shack (don’t recommend unless you’re a Christian; Octavia Spencer or no, which is why I selected it), Game Change, John Wick: Chapter 2, Doctor Strange, Ghost…
This was a bad date. She had a horrible date with a clueless guy who thought he was being sexy and hot. She was made to feel uncomfortable, and it wasn’t right.
The story reads to me like a groupie dissatisfied she was treated like a groupie.
Just here for the comments:
I can empathize. We were forbidden jellybeans in my household while Reagan was in office. Not even for Easter!!! I was devastated because I LOVE THEM.
I would love to see a screenshot of her Alexa App history and the audio from this “order”... Otherwise, fake news.
So she will be trying to defeat Democrat Ben Cardin. As Jezebel notes:
I’ll say what a lot of people think, he didn’t do it. I believe the daughter thinks he did it because a highly vindictive angry and awful mother told her it happened.
Not to be another “that’s not a lifehack” asshole, but how is wearing-the-right-size-of-whatever-thing a lifehack?
I think Gaby would be great, but I don’t think she’s old enough for the time period the film would want to highlight in McDaniel’s career. My vote is for Octavia.

I’m here for this. It used to strike me as odd that my grandmother, a black woman born in the 30's, had a collection of Mammy and Prissy dolls. Now I’m seeing that this was probably because she wanted to honor women who looked like her and broke down barriers, in whatever way that was. Duh.
