I know lots of adults go without kids, but I think it would be odd to go alone. I solo travel a lot in Europe and North America, but I don’t think a theme park would be as fun on its own. (Also, I think Harry Potter is at Universal, not Disney.)

I’m a 42 and have never been to a Disney park and want to go. I don’t have kids, and it’s not really a place you can go on your own. However, I’m not one of those Disney-obsessed adults. I haven’t seen an animated Disney movie in theatres since high school. The only Disney movies I own are Mary Poppins and the Parent

I was assuming I’m just super old and not hip to the new lingo. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks “dead” isn’t a verb and “to dead” isn’t a proper phrase.

If my Prime delivery isn’t delivered on the promised date or isn’t delivered as specified (e.g., they leave it at apartment leasing office instead of delivering to front door), I always call them about it. I usually get a month extension of Prime, but on a few occasions they’ve offered to refund the cost of the item

In at least modern times, there’s been a gap between the death of one monarch and the coronation of the next. Edward VIII became king on Jan 20 1936 but abdicated 11 months later without ever having a coronation. During this time, mail stamps with his likeness were eve produced and used. Elizabeth II’s coronation took

Per Wikipedia, Daytime Emmys weren’t supposed to count according to the person who created the acronym.

Soderbergh’s been his own DP for quite a while, usually under the pseudonym Peter Andrews. If my memory serves correct, he used a different name because the WGA wouldn’t let him be credited together as “Director and Cinematographer” on one credit card because the writer credit card should come between the two. He

Until recently, I thought Jessica Chastain and Mireille Enos were the same person.

I would just be happy if the default view was reverse chronological order(see newest first) and unfollowing someone meant you didn’t see their stuff in your timeline.

I’ve become a lot more selective in movie watching, but I can’t remember the last time I watched a modern-day movie that involved a character being raped. In fact, the most recent movie I remember containing a rape scene is 12 Days a Slave, which was historical.

I think the most interesting thing about her op ed is that she says she was aware of the rumors about her and Harvey and knew that they weren’t true, so she didn’t put much credence into the others rumors about him. I think that’s a plausible way that someone in the industry could have known about the rumors but

Am I the only person incredibly surprised that Trump knows the Ambassador to the UK is formally known as the US Ambassador to the Court of St James’s?

London is my favorite city, as well. It’s odd, but I actually feel more at home there than the city where I’ve lived for 17 years. However, I think it would lose it’s “specialness” for me if I actually lived there.

My grandmother also made them with butterscotch chips and peanut butter (probably at least half a cup). I think the peanut butter helps cut the sweetness of the butterscotch.

Mine have a platinum band, and they’ve been fine. I’m of the thought that I’d rather enjoy using them and maybe have them break or fade then have them sit in a cabinet (which is what would happen if I had to hand wash them).

I have my mother’s 1960s china and grandmother’s 1920s sterling silver and use both fairly often. I put the china in the dishwasher and have never had an issue — no chips, breaks or scratches. In fact, I think I’m less likely to break it because then I’m not handling wet, soapy dishes that could slip through my

Yes, but didn’t much like the show in general. Although it wasn’t that I didn’t like her because of the characters she played. Instead, her publicity/talk-show personality started to grate on my nerves.

Love Reefer Madness!

I don’t have a problem with her feeling like that. I get it. I’ve felt like that before. But her public discussions about it came off a bit saccharine and twee for me.

I loved her during the Veronica Mars years, but then she started getting too sugary and twee and over the top. The tipping point for me to dislike her was her sloth freak out. But then she did The Good Place, and I love her again.
