Ralph Fiennes isn’t playing the Commander; his younger brother Joseph is.

In the late 90s, there was a US-version of Kinder Eggs that included a toy. Within a year or so, the toy was replaced with edible candies (basically a hollow chocolate egg filled with tiny mini M&M’s).
I’m still enjoying Black-ish, but I have a feeling it’s going to take a turn for the worse with a new baby. I really don’t understand their need for the baby plot line.
Yes! I was too young to watch it when it was on, but I would totally dig it now. Every so often, I’ll do a search on my cable to see if it’s playing on any of the classic TV stations like MeTV. Sadly, they’d probably be afraid it’s too racy.
Yeah, except that in the 70s Rock Hudson had to hid the fact that he was gay from the public. His publicists even tried to cover-up his AIDS diagnosis by saying he had liver cancer because they didn’t want the public to know he was gay.
Seems like Hitchcock did a lot of trailers like this. When I was a kid, there was a movie that I watched often of VHS (can’t remember which one!) that had the trailer for Frenzy. It always creeped me out.
I kind of feel that way about Sarah Palin. When I saw a picture of her the day she was announced as McCain’s running mate, I thought she looked attractive and smart. Then I heard her say something, and she just looks bat-shit crazy to me. I blame about 1% of this on media’s use of crazy-eyed pictures of her and 99% of…
I agree. I feel like she was trying to pull of this crazy genius persona (like Einstein having wild hair), but she just looks plain crazy instead.
Listen Without Prejudice Vol 1 is one of my all-time favorite albums, and I’ve been waiting for Vol 2 for 20+ years (even though I knew it would likely never happen). I didn’t enjoy all of his music (some was a little too club/disco for me), but I would have loved the chance to get new music from him.
I don’t know why, but I’m hoping she decided to be a single mom and used an anonymous sperm donor from Paris’s fertility practice.
The Daily Mail has been doing that for Cheryl whatever-her-last-name-is-now that is rumored to be pregnant (or “pregnant”) by a One Direction guy. I think it’s their way of calling celebrities out for being pregnant when their publicists have neither confirmed nor denied it.
I don’t know why, but I just couldn’t quit The OC. I stopped watching so many other shows like this (90210, Melrose Place, Gossip Girl, etc.) after a few seasons, but I stuck with The OC.
I prefer Elementary, as well. The only reason I think I’m still watching Sherlock is that it’s just been a handful of episodes each year. If it were a 22-episode-per-year US show, I would have quit ages ago.
Kensington Palace also falls under Historic Royal Palaces, but it still contains grave and favor apartments used by various members of the royal family. Does HRP just oversee the “public” areas of KP? (I think Hampton Court still has grace and favor apartments as well, or at least it did until relatively recently.)
I’d never thought of it this way, but now it’s the only way I’ll be able to think about it. (And that’s a good thing.)
He’s currently on The Affair playing a completely creepy prison guard.
Rumor is that he’ll choose to go by George like his grandfather did.
Oh, I’m sure they used a star that looks like a cross to try to blend in with Christianity and be perceived as a “real” church. Mike Rinder didn’t say that, but you could tell by the way he answered the question that that was the subtext.
Is that the same episode where someone had a rave in the house between the time they had done their initial visit and when they got the keys? I remember that some stuff was stolen out of the garage during the construction phase on that one. (It was awesome schadenfreude because I really dislike these people and their…
This was a question on Leah’s show last night! Mike Rinder said Scientology would say it’s not a cross, it’s an eight-pointed star. (Apparently, eight is the magic number in Scientology. There are eight OT levels, tenets, etc.)
