I think they left “child” out of the title because the body of the article clarifies that he’s TV’s first openly transgendered child actor. But still misleading and confusing.

There’s a picture of a young William in a Dallas Cowboys t-shirt in an old official book at the Waleses life at Highgrove. It disgusted me.
Rumor has it that they dress the children this way only during public events. When they are at home, they dress in everyday kid clothes (Kate’s been seen shopping at GAP Kids near Kensington Palace). They think this will help keep people from recognizing them in public when they are young.
I found the text of the actual article that first introduced me to them-- http://www.angelfire.com/celeb/millers/vogsisact.html. I’ve always remembered the horror the describe of men using Tiffany boxes to give their fiancée’s non-Tiffany engagement rings.
That’s what I got as well. I was not happy about it. Rats are just gross and disgusting.
I’ve been intrigued by the Miller sisters ever since I read an article about them in Vogue probably 25 years ago. On one hand, I’m kind of envious of the lives they’ve been able to live because of their dad’s wealth, but they just annoy the hell out of me.
He and his bakery are fabulous! I took an Italian bread making class (not from him, but his wife was the assistant) at the Bread Ahead baking school, and I highly recommend it. He also makes the best doughnuts in the world.
I would love to see someone like Justin Gellatly from Bread Ahead on a show. He’s great at what he does but isn’t a snob about it.
As a plus-size woman, this is what I want when it comes to clothing:
The outside might not be fancy, but I’m pretty sure they are packed impeccably. She once did an article (or blog post?) with tips on packing, and she suggested using tissue paper when folding your shirts to try to prevent wrinkles.
It’s not like he couldn’t comprehend the concept at all — he got it after I spent time explaining it. It was just that there isn’t a show like it now that I could really compare it to. There are Law & Order type shows that have new characters every week, but there aren’t shows that have the main draw being “big name”…
I loved Battle of the Network Starts when I was a kid (in the later 70s/early 80s)! Around 2000, some cable channels showed a marathon in the middle of the night, and my sister and I stayed up all night watching it.
That part was easy to explain. It was the rotating “big name” guest star part that he didn’t get.
I tried to explain The Love Boat to a much younger coworker yesterday. He totally didn’t get it, and there isn’t really a current show that has that guest-stars-of-the-week theme that was so popular in the late 70s and early 80s.
Is your dad Brand from The Goonies?
Absolutely none of my friends’ moms or my mom wore aerobics gear in public. Maybe they were all too old and unhip?
I remember the 80s aerobics trend, but I don’t remember people wearing spandex and leotards to the grocery store or PTA meetings (at least not where I grew up in Louisiana). There was a very highly stylized gym “uniform”, but it was still limited to going to and from the gym and not everyday wear.
She always came off as a very curious and caring person. She seemed to really want to know everything about someone because she cared about their well being.
I find lightweight hiking pants to be much more comfortable than workout clothes. And I can wear most of them to work without looking like I just came from the gym.
I assume it started with Juicy Couture and Yogalates, which puts it’s birth around the same time as The O.C.
