The thing that bothers me the most about this tweet is that it’s so skewed to a male audience. Like it’s okay for men to now get women pregnant because they won’t have to face any repercussions because she can just get an abortion. The couple of years I didn’t have cable in my 20s (circa 2005) was when I watched the crappiest TV. I’m one of those people who likes the noise of TV in the background, so I’d end up watching shows like Elimidate because it was the least crappy thing on at midnight.

But doesn’t this miss the “hot” part of the “hot and cold” dichotomy of fried ice cream? It’s really just ice cream rolled around in other stuff instead of mixing the other stuff into the ice cream.

Perhaps part of being strategic in the order of explaining rules, I always first want to know what the end goal of the game is — most victory point, most money, largest territory, etc. This helps me understand the importance of different actions and rules as they are being explained.

That’s a great idea! I’ve seen tips about pre-scooping ice cream onto a pan lined with parchment paper, but this seems like it would work better for storing in the freezer as you can stack them.

My problem has always been the shaping technique. I’ve used quite a few dough recipes (which are all pretty similar — flour, salt, yeast, water), but I never can get my dough thin enough. I’ve tried rolling it, shaping/pulling by hand, etc., and it always ends up thicker than I would like.
