I’m a big fan of Rick Steves, but it’s important to recognize that his travel guides are highly curated and only include the things he and his writers recommend. They are great for replicating a guided tour without the cost of a guide (buying his book is a lot cheaper than taking one of his tours). But, if there’s a

Russian language was my minor; my reading fluency was much better than verbal. I can pick up a little bit here and there while watching The Americans, and I can tell it isn’t a word-for-word translation, which is pretty fantastic. I think a lot of people struggle learning new languages because they try to translate

I’m a real make-up underachiever. My daily make-up routine consists of IT blush, Revlon creme eyeshadow palette, Maybeline mascara and whatever lipstick is handy.

Marks and Spencer’s Colin the Caterpillar cola-flavored gummy worms are my absolute favorite gummy product. They are chewy without being hard, and the flavor is spot on. Unfortunately, they aren’t easy to get outside the UK (or at least in the US).

I really liked it, as well. It’s one of those movies that I will stop and watch if it’s on TV.

Or Palace of Westminster since it includes more than Elizabeth Tower.

I totally forgot that Cher was in Silkwood. I need to rewatch it.

I recently saw a play that I absolutely hated. I kept hoping it would get better, but about halfway through, my hopes were dashed. If it had had an intermission, I’m not sure I would have stayed.

That’s another great example!

I upgraded to the Alta from the Flex, and I love it. I got it because I really wanted a tracker that doubled as a watch, but I also wanted the flexibility of changing bands (so the Charge wasn’t an option for me). I also like having trackers that can be used without a band as there are times when wearing something

It’s even the stated dress code in Center Stage. A quick search on the internet also shows that it’s the common dress code for a lot of ballet schools and studios.

I agree that they are terribly ill fitting. I’m hoping that when she moves to having them mass made, they use a better pattern and possibly better fabric with some Lycra.

I stay at a specific hotel once a year for a convention, and they don’t take the bottom sheet all the way down to tuck between the box spring and mattress. It basically just stops at the top edge of the mattress (leaving the side bare of sheet). I have restless leg, so the sheet always ends up getting wrapped around

I always assumed it more of a shout out to her previous work on soap operas (Y&R and General Hospital). She was also married to GH star Tyler Christopher for a couple of years.

Yep, and he was beginning to look a little haggard (kind of rode hard and put up wet), which is why I was certain the blind item was about them. It’s totally a double standard even if I don’t think it should matter how either of them look.

He seemed to hang out with the other two guys on the show quite a bit...based on his Twitter feed.

Apparently, he showed up at the TV BAFTA awards tonight with his wife.

The only reason I’d want to have a kid is to do little social experiments. (Which is exactly why I don’t have kids — this isn’t a valid reason.)

Yeah, I didn’t think they could actually mimic until they were a few months old, not one week old.

When investigating car rental options in England, I noticed that most of the automatic cars are bigger luxury cars. If you want a small car that’s easy to maneuver on narrow country roads and into small parking spots, you’re pretty much going to have to drive a manual.
