This particular mother is so paranoid, though, that her kid’s arriving ten minutes late equals THE CPS IS COMING TO TAKE THEM in her mind. That’s no way to live, whether it’s in her head, the mentality of her neighborhood as she describes, or both.

We do the best digging that we can but there are a suprising amount of spite calls. Ive had families where there were 4-5 prior cases all unfounded that were just not true. CPS is used as a revenge tool a lot.
