@curtis07: That's a good point. I'm not at that point in life yet. I still wear a t-shirt and jeans.

@wickedcupofjoe: Nice! That's way cooler than my wallpaper-covered soup can.

@rossruns: Rubbing alcohol works better for permanent marker on non-whiteboard surfaces. Also, I had a teacher who wrote on the wall with the dry erase marker because the school removed one of the 2 whiteboards and she didn't notice. She couldn't get it out .

@Derfel: Yeah. You might as well go with a chalkboard (which is what I use). Chalkboards are almost as easy as whiteboards to erase and you still have no smelly or dried up markers (not that I mind them).

My campus sells Windows 7 Professional for $7.50. There's no need for the average person to start college with software that might not be compatible with what the school needs them to have. Also, I'd say buy Asus. They're really cheap compared to companies like dell/hp/toshiba/mac selling similar spec models (and

When I procrastinate, it is because the task is stressful. If I didn't care about something, I wouldn't get stressed out over it.

@TouchMyMonkey: Same. I use the same passwords for many sites, but certainly not my bank. I *am* that bad at remembering passwords. I have 1 main passwords and 2 with 1 key variations of it (for unimportant sites, the bank and whatnot are totally different) and I have enough trouble keeping those straight! Also, I

@neenee: I'm still going to use it, but that is a really important point! I've had that happen when a rogue script was refreshing every page a few times a second... Unless I get blocked like every day, it's worth it for me. If I do, I'll turn it back off.

@nka: Odds are you know your answer by now as it's like a year later, but you'd need to buy a copy of xp to do this, I think. Pro or Ultimate come with this, home and starter do not.

@musiqrulez: It's not fucked up. It might not be what you want, but it's something I really want!

I have tried dual booting 7 with Ubuntu (or with Mint at other times). I found that I STRONGLY prefer running linux as a virtual machine, like I do with XP. Also, I would not want the old desktop button. I like the new system much better.

@Platypus Man: The search suggestions are usually right for me. It's just how I word my searches. It is fun to type things like "[well known name] is" and see what happens.

@lilianril: Ah, that makes sense. I don't tend to make alfredo. The sauce I make most often is a basil cream sauce and holds up fairly well. I think I'd still end up microwaving it to reheat it, though, for convenience. I store sauce in microwavable containers and wouldn't want to dirty a pan each time I needed to

@QuazAndWally: Depending on your toaster (which I assume is a toaster oven) it should work the same. If you can control the temperature on the toaster oven, it should work fine. If it's coming out dry, spray or sprinkle some vegetable oil on it first.

@the_amazing_doug: I like to add some garlic salt and rosemary (with both being in salt grinders).

@lilianril: Why would your cream sauce be in any way oily? I don't put oil in my cream sauces and they microwave perfectly.
