@whyisitso: Some also reported that it goes to the home screen for a couple seconds before it locks. That kind of defeats the purpose of having a lock!

Wow. I looked at the reviews and this seems REALLY buggy. It lags, turns bluetooth off on any keypress, apps stop responding to controls, not waking at all, using the old lock, etc. It's really an awesome idea, but until they fix it up, I'm leaving it off of my phone!

@ivancamilov: Before it existed, I was hoping it would be called Flan. Frozen Yogurt (Froyo) is fine too, though.

@Ben R: I changed my home default to home++ and love my 7 screens ^.^

@Yinzers Are People Too: I think they all might have them. A listing of them would be a bit redundant to the market, but if what you're looking for is to install apps from your computer to your phone, I strongly suggest checking out appbrain. They have it so you can browse the market on their website, click

@Yinzers Are People Too: many seem to already have the code, but there are many, many free sites that allow you to make your own QR code, whether it is your contact info, a picture, a link to an android app, or more.

@djdare: I also want to know this. All of my free phones saved enough power to turn back on for my alarm. Heck, they'd save enough so if I didn't do anything after it died, the alarm would go off each day for a week. I really do miss this feature on my android.

This is like the "you can't start a sentence with 'because'" rule. It's too simple. The sentence is rearranged a bit and is fine. Would you be okay with, "Legos tend to yellow quite a bit over time due to a fire retardant in the plastic they are made from—"?

I don't (yet). In theory, my myTouch 3G is getting the 2.2 update some time next month. I don't have much stuff tied to my phone that I don't need (mainly, it's Amazon), so that's not really an issue for me, but there are a growing number of apps that require 2.1+, and I'm still on 1.6. If I don't get the update by

@Scott D. Feldstein: It is FAR more than 1%! That's why you are stunned. I think I might know one person with an iOS device that did not jailbreak it. It's pretty common! I would have guessed 65-70%, but I guess a lot of people don't want to put in the effort.

Try Linux Mint. It's based off of Ubuntu but is more awesome and comes with more of this stuff (including flash working out of the box). Get the 32 bit version. I had Mint (and Ubuntu before that) as a partition on my hard drive, but I now use VMware (which I like better that virtual box) to use it instead.

It seems it does not support Dvorak, so it is of no use to me. Other than that it sounds pretty nice!

@battra92: I completely agree about coffee. I hate the taste of coffee, though I need caffeine. I am addicted. Something I hadn't noticed until reading this is the change in the frequency of my caffeine drinking since I started the pill. I still need a fair amount every day, but I can drink an energy drink (or 2

@dry-roasted-peanuts: that is still enough to make people wonder if you're making it up. That is a LOT. Also, there is no need to drink that much water every day. Even the 8 cups thing is just a rumor (medical scientists say that the average person eating a healthy diet would be fine not even drinking extra water).

Too bad it's mainly meats; I'm veggy! Still, I'll likely try it later and see if it's useful. Maybe they will have added more by then.

Also, really sorry, but NONE of my comments showed up until that last one. It's really buggy. It's also not letting me delete them.

@Kasse: (trying for the 5th time, it seems you cannot truly log in via facebook and comment :[ ) I saw that episode and tried it. They tested old style strips. I had one with the new strips (that are all pretty and random colors). I had to get a new card because it didn't work anymore after 1 swipe with a weak

@CompyPaq: Seriously, anything Android is nice. I got the myTouch3G and though it's already outdated, I still love it and receive updates. iPhone is nice if you either have no clue what you are doing or are ready to jailbreak it. It's also more expensive. I also have t-mobile and love combining the free google

it worked on my windows 7 64 bit but not on my 32 bit.

what about the mytouch 3G? Its' android and newish too... I'd kill for multitouch!
