They are not going to try to pass anything else in regards to health care , but you are absolutely right that they will try to sabotage the fuck out of it.

Anybody watching Ryan’s press conference? It seems strange how loudly he’s admitting that they spent the last decade as an opposition party and that they haven’t figured out how to actually govern yet. And I’m really not changing his words much. He’s pretty much outright saying “we don’t know how to govern yet, we’re

OMG and the Dems chanting “vote, vote, vote” ahahaahhahahahaahahahahahahahahbahahahahahahababhaab

When Trump is incompetent at foreign policy, I’m terrified, but in cases like this, I’m relieved. The result of all this is that the AHCA continues in its flawed but superior to this shit way. If Trump, Pence, and Ryan can do absolutely nothing with regard to domestic policy for the next four years, I’ll be grateful.

I’m hoping we can keep up this level of disappointment and anger among people for the next 17 months so we can harness it for 2018 midterm elections!

It’s pretty staggering. If Trump had actually waited and tried to gain the proper support behind the scenes and, you know, actually practiced good negotiation tactics, it’s possible they could have eked out a victory. Instead, he looks like a complete and utter failure.

I’m not sure if I’m relieved or terrified that the Republicans running our government are so incompetent that their evil health care “replacement” died in 17 days.

To all the moronic fuckers who either actively wanted/turned a blind eye to this racist, sexist, xenophobic, and downright vile piece of shit because “he was a strong leader”. Look at your strongman President now, running like the fucking coward he is, unable to get his own Party to vote against the ACA which they

repeal and replace this administration.

Republicans are enemies of the American people. Period. Literally. Full Stop. They are domestic enemies and should be treated as such.

Changing political parties is not like changing jackets, just because the weather’s better on our side of the street,” said Vandeveer.

Disagree. After Trump goes to prison, ex-Republican politicians are going to be flocking to us in droves. We need to be selective. Fuck these off-brand turds.

I will never forgive Bill Cosby for taking Bill Cosby from me.

I’ve made this argument on Jez to much (obvious) contention but really, I just don’t think comedy is for progressives. Modern progressives are too sensitive and go into viewing entertainment with a list of boxes to check for groups and subgroups and sub-subgroups that shouldn’t be “offended.”

I watched Spin last night, and Rich is leaving out a key part of the Cosby commentary - that being it was a callback to a joke done earlier in the show concerning a superhero who resorts to rape to maximize his “powers,” setting up a moral conundrum of “he rapes, but he saves lives.”

This wasn’t Andrew Dice Clay

Let’s just remember that he has a valuable legacy that I can’t just throw away. I remember that he’s the first black man to ever win an Emmy in television. I also remember that he’s the first guy to make a cartoon with black characters where their lips and noses were drawn proportionately. I remember that he had a

I loved this. Especially being a dark skinned black woman. I know I still have issues from childhood, and I thought I had gotten over them like other people have said but my preferences and things I do directly correlate to my skin tone and how I feel about myself.

If black men were protesting at the capitol carrying long guns, we’d see some shit.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: you want common sense gun restrictions? Start a bad-ass, gun-toting feminist/LGBTQ/BLM militia - complete with tricked out assault rifles and small unit tactics training. Guns will be completely banned within the year. Tisk-tisking about crazy Republican’s and their gun

I’m really sick of Black people playing dumb when other Black people bring up intra-racial issues. Yes, we are all Black (#nodolezals), but whenever Black people try to talk about the hierarchy within Blackness (the color hierarchy, the class one, the national origin one), people who have a relative amount of
