I’m not following any of that “Free Melania” bullshit. She’s not a child. I’m not going to assume I know more than she does because I see her on TV. She needs to grow the fuck up and move into her new house so she can quit costing the taxpayers so much unnecessary money.
I love his assertion that her being ‘a great person’ (citation needed) has any bearing on Nordstrom carrying her line. They cut it because it didn’t sell, and Nordstrom is a business, it wouldn’t matter if it was Mother Teresa’s line.
I just heard my senator, Dick Durbin, on MSNBC. Apparently Sen. Warren, with her popularity and articulateness (is that a word?) gets under the Repubs skin like no one else in the senate. So it was personal.
She is the only person I think who can truly unite the Bernie people, with her laser-like focus on wealth inequality, and Hillary people, with her intersectional views on social issues.
As badly as I would love for her to be President... WE REALLY NEED HER IN THE SENATE.

As much as I want to see DeVos’ nomination go down in flames because she is bad and stupid - I still think it’s curious (i.e., curiously bad) that of all Trump’s terrible nominations (Sessions, Carson, etc.) the only one we might muster the votes to derail is a woman. Is that too PC of me?

I’ve been googling and reading about this guy since I saw this post, and man is he impressive. I’m not sure a DNC chair position is best for him, frankly. This guy could be a Senator or Governor. Amazing potential.

I like Ellison, but the bottom line is we need to pick someone and 100% get behind him or her. I think all of us progressives are good people with good intentions, but we’re so goddamn fractured right now, while the republicans are marching in evil lockstep.
