The way I see it, is the United States has plenty of Awesome road tracks from Road Atlanta, to COTA, to Sebring etc... why can’t they race on those. I am sure these tracks would love to have the added income of a NASCAR sponsored race to them.

One could argue that it is the intent of the user that makes it a weapon. A car will not harm anyone unless used to do so. A firearm, sitting on someones closet shelf, or gun cabinet will not harm a single person unless some one intends to use it for harm.
