Everyone did.  Including the author accounts.

Just throwing this out there. 1. TOTK is very mid. Redundant play with sandbox creation. Should have been DLC. Stop comparing it if data shows people still care and like and buy and play Hogwarts Legacy. 2. The sales show people like Harry Potter and can put aside their feelings on Rowling. No, it’s not death of the

They’ve been pretty busy - just not much big that can be done until the Creation Kit is released.

I played it. I’m not a fan of HP so it didn’t grab me, but I gave it a couple hours. It was fine. Only decent, and not terrible. But definitely not Game of the Year or Best in Insert Category Here levels of good or polish. Definitely better than most tie-in games to be sure.

I’m sure lots will come back for DLC and the mods and such.

Correct. The statement is true regardless.

What can I say, it’s fun to troll fascists.

Oh, I’m well aware. I’ve done this song and dance with him before. I just find it entertaining watching his arguments gradually devolve into complete nonsense.

Dude, really, I admire your patience. But every argument pessimism made is obviously made in bad faith an indicates that they’re either trolling or like spreading toxicity, since the only thing they do is twisting everything to the point of illogicality while disregarding facts and commonly accepted notions. I don’t

People cared, for a month. Then it left the collective subconscious.

Hogwarts did succeed on its own merits. If it was a bad game, it would have flopped, just like many crappy Harry Potter games have in the past. However, the developers delivered a good game that many people enjoyed, hence the positive reception and commercial success.

Yes, shame on them for making a critically and commercial successful game that millions of people (including non-Harry Potter fans) enjoyed. They should burn in hell!

Alright, I’ll make sure to let developers know that getting 165k positive user reviews on Steam (resulting in a Very Positive overall rating), a 84 Metascore and 8.5 User Score on Metacritic and a 84 Top Critic Average and a 89% Critics Recommend on OpenCritic (resulting in a Mighty overall rating) is mediocre and

It has over 5000 positive user reviews on Steam written in the past 30 days, over 165k positive user reviews on Steam total (resulting in a Very Positive overall rating), a 84 Metascore and 8.5 User Score on Metacritic and a 84 Top Critic Average and a 89% Critics Recommend on OpenCritic.

I’m just going to copy and paste part of my response to another commenter:

I don’t remember that, either. Because it came out in 2022.

Surely you realize that all entertainment is disposable? Most people don’t even finish games, let alone replay them. Most people don’t rewatch movies or TV shows. The vast majority of single-player games aren’t talked about a month after release regardless of quality.

Oh boy. So now you’re claiming that the last 30 days of data are irrelevant and that only data from the last 24 hours matters? If so, I think we’re done here.

Again, none of the data supports your claim that people only cared about Hogwarts Legacy at launch.

Yeah sure, 84/85 metacritic but “wasn’t a hit with critics” 😄
