Its that they kept the E3 showing a secret. Obviously, we all knew the project itself existed. Thats why showing it was such a surprise. It had become a joke, and its shocking that nobody had leaked it.

The info I find most intriguing about this article is that Square Enix has been planning the FF7 project for over a year already, to the point that it was worth sharing with a Sony executive. That actually leads me to believe that its further down the line, production wise than I was expecting.
Very true. But it’s hard for there to be ANY secrets in this day and age. I couldn’t believe Sony kept The Last Guardian a secret considering how long it’s been worked on. And he FF7 stuff really blew me away, even if we’re all pretty damn sure all they've got is that video and some concept art. Still can't wait.
I dowant so damn bad.
It seems like it might take a bit more time to get deep into it. I am excited for that game too. Although, I’m a little personally embarrassed by how well that ‘titillating’ costume stuff works on me...
True, this is certainly the case. But luckily enough, the Vita crowed is an incredibly dedicated group and are not afraid to put money down on games. Kotaku had actually written a nice article on their purchase rates a while back.
Especially before they get their hands on it.
As a “Legacy” device, it does open the doors to many developers to try something new, which is an exciting prospect. Development costs will drop just due to Dev units. A wider range of support from things like Unity or other engines would really open those doors further. But as someone who is looking at the Vita as a…
lol. whoops
Don’t forget riding a dolphin that can jump tens of feet higher than normal to reach the next level of Junion!
I was wondering how HD cloud would look on the back of a dolphin, or Red XIII would look in a sailors outfit... Those might get cut, sadly.
I showed my girlfriend (non-gamer) the recent trailer and her response was ‘see, why weren’t they just in a safer place? That way, they wouldn’t have to be in all that danger!’
Ok, sounds good. Cool story, bro. Glad you came to this gaming site to tell us how you're sick of gaming.
First game was amazingly refreshing and a fucking blast. Glad they're continuing to pursue this IP
It’s the issue of thought that there is no division between console and mobile gaming. They are different markets with different desires. They are just similar in actual build, not in content, pay structure or marketing. And these CEO’s seem to think there’s only one ‘video game’ and this is why they're maybe going to…
Luckily, thanks to the build of the consoles this generation, I only had to pay one small price and I get a majority of the games that are on PC, even if they are slightly less optimized.
Me too, bro. ;P
Way to take things literally, guy.
to be fair, i heard the taco’s were barely cooked. They were merely embryonic, thus you might have dodged a bullet.
I actually enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles. It's a great game with at least a story and some semblance of character development. This sounds just like a slog.
