at first i thought you were kidding, but damn... that thing STILL hurts my eyes!
i know the dood. he's sorda a major fixture of the Lower East Side of New York City. It's funny, because he's a real nice dood. Just a bit simple...
yes. yes it is. guess i should have made it more obvious. haha
and this is where the beauty of the Ouya comes in. We are capable of quickly and fluidly prototyping and distributing games that would not be capable outside of the 90's PC era. I'm happy to see something like this. No matter how brutally I suck at Chess 1...
this is all well and good, but without procedural damage, i don't see the need for all of this crazy horse power. (see what i did there?)
anybody else worried about the framerate issues? true, its beta and there is still quite a bit of time to optimize it, but I've yet to see a single shot in which there is not slowdown and stuttering.
and here i was sorda into the outfits... oh well
Here's hoping that Mallo from Pushmo/Crashmo makes his way into the game! That would be interesting!
Oh, also, if you're interested about the SNES stuff, there are a lot ways you can emulate it, or use its sounds using SoundFonts from games in a sampler. It's a bit long to explain here, but its def something that could be done. Maybe contacting people from this site, as they are sooper helpful guys: http://snesology.t…
Totally, yeah, I dug the extra mixing you did. The melody structure is really nice too. If I'd add one thing, and its just because I know how it is hard to control on a GameBoy, the WAVE sound (your bass), sounds a bit low. I know that thats the hardest one to control in terms of volume, so I get how that happens,…
I dig the tune man! Its got a nice vibe, very similar to something like Robot Science. Its a chill, smooth sorda track. What hardware you using? It sounds mainly GB. Am I right?
Dood, its so rad to see these guys making it like this! Pete (the main writer and performer of the band) has been working non-stop for the last 3 years on this album. If you listen closely to some of the sounds they use and the chord and melody structure, you can hear some of the songs he was playing through that time…
When I was in High School, I was mainly just Hip Hop, college was Metal and rock stuff, and now i'm pretty broad, but find myself listening to a majority of Chip Tune stuff. There's a lot of great stuff out there, for sure! again, PM me if you're looking for more.
Where do you plan to end up posting some of your music? I'm pretty involved in the Chip Tune scene and am buddies with a majority of these guys here in New York. I am always looking for more chip tune to put into DJ sets and junk.
I'm buddies with them and a few other of the chip tune guys and here is a nice little list that you can check out. Just so you know, Infinity Shred and Anamanaguchi are really the only guys that have such a combination of both real and chip based sounds.
James, the Bassist of the band built them. One of his jobs besides being the bassist of Anamanguchi is building light setups for other bands, like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I got to check the box out in person and it is just a projection from beneath for the sphere (which in this shot is a full, round pizza orbiting the…
The last song on their EP Dawn Metropolis used a Gameboy. It was written by Ari, the guitarist who isn't Pete Berkman.
nailed it like i nailed your mom. :D
Gotta be honest, if this game's reviews come in solid, I just might purchase the Wii U for this game.
