I’m actually a teacher, and I’ve seen other teachers do amazing things like “create a species” as an end-of-unit assessment to see what students learned about evolution. Students would have to use the appropriate domain language and concepts to pitch a hypothetical evolutionary descendent of existing animals in the

Netflix just released a trailer for “Alien Worlds”, a nature-documentary-styled series of hypothetical extra-terrestrial worlds and lifeforms. If we could get Disney+ in-universe SW “documentary” series that were presented as Holonet shows, what would you like to see? I have 3 ideas as examples:

Disney+ needs to get on top of “Alien Worlds” type shows using Disney properties. It could be a merge of their Nat Geo, Animal Kingdom, and their fictional IP where they have actual scientists break down the plausibility of different ET life forms, worlds, and approach to physics in things like Star Wars, Avatar (blue

And I love that Mandible was a literal Ant Man.

I also liked seeing the riskiness of sub-light travel. Really helps give us a better sense of the importance of hyperspace travel, which has been sorta built up with the backstory to Batuu and the little we know about the High Republic. All a part of the great world-building in this ep. I really loved Din speaking

Whew...that was thrilling / intense / exhausting...all in GREAT ways!!! Those spiders were straight outta Dagobah concept art. So good.

You should stop...and punish them.

I was giggling the second the aspect ratio started shifting. Boba was in full 70mm or Cinerama, cuz dramatic Western.

Indeed. They couldn’t even afford the fan to blow Vanth’s hair while on his speeder. Blew the budget on Krayt Dragons, slime, and Leguizamo. (Understandable.)

Have you been to the actual Galaxy’s Edge yet? It’s not exactly a free roam on the Falcon, but you see a good portion of it. And it’s glorious.

Laughed at the end of your comment. Yeah..sometimes we just have to write / talk to think things through. I cringe a little that both Yoda AND the Droids were on Batuu, but whatevs. I guess if Yoda was there pre-Prequel Era, it’s fine. And the Droids can ultimately make sense, assuming their experience here in this

The bartender tells stories from the past, so the Jedi story with Yoda is an in game “flashback” depicting one of those. But yeah, this is between ROTJ  and TFA.

Amen. I wrote an unnecessarily long response to earlier commenters in the thread that’s still in the grays. But you captured it better. I went SW, you went MCU. Ha. But in short, I think Rogue One for SW addresses what Feige identifies but has yet to tackle in the MCU.

Not trying to pick a fight, but want to offer a helpful TL;DR counterpoint. Feel free to only read the bold stuff.

Wow. I’ve completely slept on Primal. On a whim I clicked the video to check it out because I liked the character designs in the video thumbnail. Now I’m convinced I have to at least watch one episode.

It sucks, but some things (like JKR) suck more.

I know less than anyone, but for what it’s worth, Pascal is so chill and comes across as a geeky fan. Hard to simply accept an evidence-less rumor like this. But since people seem so eager to inhale circumstantial “evidence” as news in the USA these days, here’s some magical undeniable proof that CBN’s “reporting”

So disappointing given the nature of Carano’s career and the character of Cara Dune. I mean, the nature of Gina’s life’s work as a fighter and athlete does so much to challenge painfully simplistic concepts of gender in the USA; it flips off the gender binary’s insistence on stark, essential differences between

Yes, ILM...I mean Ilum was pretty much confirmed to have been converted into Starkiller Base. It was hinted at in canon galactic maps and then Fallen Order visually sorta sealed the deal. Wookkieepedia at this point is just stating it as so.

Agree with you both, and am genuinely wondering if your last comment was an intentional “I Am The Walrus“ reference.
