I was thinking about it a little differently. The “war” they could have been preparing for would have included two key missions / operations.

It’s funny...Travellers was one of those shows that I was never chomping at the bit to watch. I’d see it on Netflix and keep putting it off. Then I’d watch and, every single time, I’d get sucked into the story and the larger implications of the whole save-the-world or who-are-the-heroes big picture narrative. I’d end

I’m with you that time-something (as opposed to straight time travel) will come into play, but hoping it’s neither straight time-travel via the Eye of Agamotto nor a straight up alt universe as we’ve seen in other sci-fi stories.

A frozen Captain America, aka Ice Cap. Either...

I think it’s just an issue of reframing things so that it’s clearer that the star WARS mentioned in the series title can’t just be about the Skywalker line, but needs to be centered around a larger fight.

My understanding is that Spock Prime ended up in the new Trek timeline and, in a bid to ensure the survival of Vulcans, became obsessed with time travel and dimension hopping. He wanted to heal his people and eventually became known to the world over simply as “The Doctor.” But the Doctor, taking a cue from his old

Really? I actually think it’s all working together. The Momin-As-Mask and Vader scenes in this comic might actually be context for Kylo Ren talking to Vader’s mask in TFA: “Show me again, the power of the darkness... and I will let nothing stand in our way. Show me, Grandfather, and I will finish, what you started.”

I just finished the issue and in my in-development head canon this story ties into / sheds some light on the Sith Weapon on Malachor, the World Between Worlds, the Wellspring of Life / Force Planet, and the cyclical Force related event on Jakku that the Emperor’s research station hinted at.

Read a comic.

Super Mario Bros. Has the potential of being one of the biggest animated films ever. I hope they tap into the property’s unique brand of fun and not-quite-goofiness...what is that? Whimsy? Eew, but the only word I could think of.

Yeah. I have a feeling they’ll be building on the Forceback / flashback visions introduced in 7 and 8. Not saying that Smith will be Sheev, but this is the only way I’d want him to be.

Huge LEGO fan here, but not familiar with Overwatch at all. Because of my lack of context, I’m confused about the potential of this licensing deal for LEGO and not too into the designs of these sets, so I wonder how well it’ll do. But I’m also not into Minecraft, and clearly LEGO is making a lot of $$$ from that

I’m with you. I had a friend who paid ridiculous money for a tile on the floor between the Disneyland and CA Adventure gates with her name and her then fiancée’s name. He cheated on her and the wedding was called off. Awkward. All that to say that they should offer special tiles like these on property with container sp

For some reason, when I saw it in L.A. as an 8-year-old, I was blown away. Something about anthropomorphized cats, each with a colorful backstory and even super powers of sorts (Macavity and Mistoffelees and Deuteronomy’s spaceship), grabbed my imagination. A year later, Thundercats hit the airwaves. My head exploded.

Handle it. Can’t wait for the next installment.

I have an inkling what the front of that rifle looks like.

Could you tell what size they are? I couldn’t tell from the environment. The Microman origins and the decision to employ insta-grow handwavium always felt like a missed story opportunity to me in the 80s cartoon.

Seriously. What the fuck happened to 1) hope and 2) creativity in fandom? Scratch that...should’ve said “fandom on the Internet.

Ha. Beautiful is what we are.
