That pic is worth 1,000 word indeed. To be more specific, expletives and synonyms for “lazy” and “embarrassing.”

Right there with you. And I love these suits way more than Iron Man’a and Cap’s. So, yeah, I’m definitely embracing my minority opinion, but this trailer has me cheesin’.

I was blown away by the preview footage of Ant-Man they were screening in Disney’s CA Adventure a few years back. Got that same feeling watching this. The mix of humor and outrageous “golly gee” retro sci-fi effect of things shrinking hits me in the right spot. And the way they’ve wrapped the CivilmWar stuff around

Ugh. “The Last Stand” was such a joke, to the point where they threw in canned bowling “Srike” sound effects into the audio mix as he plows through people in that scene.

What I wouldn’t give to have such behind-the-scenes material for all movies. It’s always engrossing and makes me appreciate a film more when I get to see the creative process and all the labor involved. Fascinating.

I’ve had the chance to read this one, but if I can, I’d love to re-read and join in. It’s a great example of how the non-film canon material can be used to inform the films and vice versa. Should be great to re-read it after TLJ.

I’m legitimately curious how she feels about her Maz Kanata role. On the one hand, it’s Star Wars. On the other, next to Phasma, Maz is my second most disappointing new character.

Yeah, sorta like how the film’s never addressed how Palpatine become the dark lord Sidious, who that “Plagueis the Wise” person was mentioned offhandedly, how Leia went from a kid to a highly lauded Rebel leader, how Yoda built his hut on Dagobah, why Yoda chose Dagobah, what the hell the “Rule Of Two” was all about,

Ignore you have access to one, ask someone who’s served in the armed forces about what went down in TLJ. And at some point ask, point blank, “But shouldn’t a General just reveal all the plans / strategy to any who ask if there’s some belief that it’ll get your troops back in line? And shouldn’t you especially tell the

Re:Mind (season 1) - A new Japanese series about the mystery around 11 students who mysteriously wake up in the same classroom.

Same here, though I’ve watched garbage just to check things out and support genres I love. However, with all the competition these days, I divested from the DC-W Arrowverse a while ago and just check out a few episodes based on recommendations, like the recent crossover.

Ugh. I hope this was just the press outlet looking for the “most interesting” quote and choosing poorly, but fuck all if I need a filmmaker to tell me that a lot of focus was put on making a New Mutants movie a “hard” PG-13 as some sort of selling point or soothsaying comment. The reality is that the entire FoX-Men

The week before is the Spider-Verse animated Miles Morales movie. That’ll be an interesting box office report.

Can’t wait for the second half. Yeah, the GI Joe one was particularly big for me as well. That series was perfectly timed, since I was doing a nostalgic deep dive on YouTube that winter break. Came across this, which you might appreciate...

Also there’s some great content on Youtube...

Both of you are 100% on point.

Yup. I was sad when I finished the first season. The show’s theme song LIES.

This might make me feel less salty about LOST—which I mostly love—and might make me go back and watch all things Cloverfield.

Last episode I got a weird feeling that, with all the time-traveling, cosmic shenanigans the show has embraced, maybe there’s an opportunity to “explain” how separate AoS (and the rest of Marvel TV) feels from the MCU films. Given the existence of multiple dimensions and time-bending magiscience of Dr. Strange, the

Since we’re entertaining silly questions, this isn’t the first time Star Wars’ handling of passing into the Force raised eyebrows. For example, why does one’s outer robes stay in our realm while the rest of your body and clothes (and cybernetic prosthesis) move on? Or why did Vader’s lightsaber pass through Obi-Wan’s
