Kelly is best known for her role as Lyla Garrity on NBC’s Friday Night Lights, and has since been on a bunch of different shows, including Parenthood, The Path, and Almost Human.

And while a short list has yet to emerge, here’s a name I’d like to leave you with: J.J. Abrams.

Of course you can’t stop thinking that. We’ve been blessed to be able to spend time with Rebels’ 59 episodes (so far) that each runs at about 30 minutes a piece, for a total estimated 1,770 minutes of stories revolving around the same handful of loveable characters. Comparatively, the only thing that’s Comparable (and

Recognizing and acknowledging Internet Cool is so uncool. :)

And what were they doing to the Japanese living in the USA and the Japanese-Americans?

Do you mean, we allowed them to speak and still survived as a country? Incredible.

I don’t know. Avatar was pretty colorful and filled with fun fantasy creatures...

Absolutely LOVING the look and overall approach of this show, based on that trailer. Wish they’d do something similar for other LEGO themes and forego the LEGOfied look of the toys and just tell stories from their universe through different animation styles. The fan community has been doing this for years...LEGO just

Nerdy dad here of 6- and 4- year olds. Always looking for a way to get my kids into imaginative play, since that sorta thing seemed to steer me to a good place. I testify...having kids is indeed great. Not easy, but great nonetheless.

This looks like a great way to introduce folks (i.e. my 6 year old) to basic coding and engineering principles. I’ve looked into Mindstorms before and it’s intense for people just exploring. Smart of LEGO to build a gateway to Mindstorms.

What’s up with Gilly getting zero credit, Sam? Way to Maester it up. Damn.

I don’t know. She’s got all sorts of magic going on, between surviving flames, bringing an extinct magical species back into the world, and now the genetic materials of a Targaryen who has been resurrected.

Except that her biggest strength/weakness is her love for family. She clearly has an internal struggle with how much she must honor the Lannister bloodline. So much so she’s willing to secretly have kids with her brother, put up with the abuse of her father and son, etc.

I can live with the blue flames, or whatever they were. But I’m really struggling with a huge, heavy flying object whose wings have several holes in them because of a relatively fast rate of tissue rot. That shit can’t fly anymore...at least so skillfully. And after a few more days, there should be much bigger holes

Interesting. Not a single Aenys pun in this entire thread.

The subject matter is a little tricky for us because you’re dealing with the serial killer who basically murders a bunch of prostitutes. It’s pretty potent stuff.

Only other thing I’d like to add is that folks aren’t using WB’s inability to “follow the Marvel blueprint” as a measure of success out of thin air. Remember that WB went WAY out of their way to officially “start” their cinematic universe with BvS as the follow up to Man of Steel...they didn’t “experiment” with

What pissed me off about this horrible movie is that it depicted white men as evil, made a Jewish woman powerful and beautiful, and portrayed an ancient Greek polytheistic worldview as being real when we all know there is only one God.

And a Star Wars designer named Lorem Ipsum.

The Aftermath and Thrawn novels actually do canonize the Empire’s research and vague operations beyond the Outer Rim, as well as their contact and interaction with species and characters who can navigate the unknown regions. (Mainly Thrawn’s folk.) They’ve never defined if that is beyond the Galactic edge though...or
