Confused. Are you saying the movie version’s eye looks like make-up, or the comic. If you mean the movie version, to me it actually does look her skin. Along with the lighter colored pupil, it’s as if she has some sort of condition. Like heterochromia in her eye and vitiligo on her skin. If that’s what they’re going

Unfortunately Marvel Television is nowhere near as together as Marvel Studios. While I enjoyed all of the Netflix shows with the exception of Iron Fist, the ABC stuff just doesn’t even begin to approach the same quality of storytelling as the MCU proper. And I don’t think the reasons are limited to budget, the

Ultimately, to each their own. But as a die-hard Marvel Comics and MCU fan, I agree with their assessment of the ABC shows. They’re pretty bad, with some “oh neat” and a few “AWESOME” moments, but all in all weighed down by wooden acting and spotty production value.

Next project... Mordred’s helmet!!!

“No, I finished all my stuff with Zack [Snyder], I wish him well and I have no idea what’s going on right now but I’m sure whatever they’re doing is necessary. I know the parts that I did introducing Iris are f—ing sick. I can’t wait to see the movie.”

“chaos is a ladder”

“Dany is the worst, it will be shown. I do not like her. I worry for Jon’s safety.”

Absolutely love this show and wish it got more attention. Is there anything else that came out of this panel? Feels slim. Or maybe I’m spoiled by yesterday’s cavalcade of coverage.

To be fair, the actual music in the trailer is more than adequate.

Oh shit. Hahah. My pic/comment still applies as a reply here, I guess, but I was actually reading the piece on the Lego Ninjago trailer and must’ve scrolled down to the comments section of this Thor article. (Kinja is clearly not idiot proof.) So yeah...my reply made more sense in that context.

Damn. Between what we got this summer with GOTG2 and Spider-Man:HC, and the buzz from Avengers 3 D23/SDCC footage, the Thor: Ragnarok trailer, and this description of Black Panther, Marvel is making this entire summer one big fat mic drop.

Jump to 2:32 for a good example of this “style” that has been burned in my brain since I saw it in a movie theater in 1986. Plus, the music!!! Could totally fit as a soundtrack to the THOR: RAGNAROK trailer.

Umm...could you be a little more specific?

Connor Behrens of the Washington Post shared this new photo of the League looking at something concerning on Twitter...

Totally showing my age. Don’t know what Seth McFarlane looks like. For the other old farts here...

Yeah, while I think this is really cool in concept, the design is off. I have a strong feeling that the extended neck and the bulky platform were added to make the thing a reasonable height so that average sized adults wouldn’t trip on them. I imagine a real R2 unit sized droid would get people bumping into it too

They’ve given up on that a while ago. This follows the trend of having a Nemo ride in The Living Seas and a Lion King show in The Land. They’ve also had a foot in the door to bring he character rides to the World Pavilion for a while, with the Donald Duck / Three Caballeros ride in Mexico and the newer Frozen ride in

What’s a Kirk?

Absolutely in love with all the creatures and sets. Just a reminder that, post-Disney, the production level and strict adherence to the broken-in, lived-in Star Wars aesthetic, is pretty much guaranteed. In my mind, this is half the battle of getting me in the SW mode. Of course characters and story are important, but
