The jacket length relating to arm length is just plain wrong. People's arms can be different lengths and there are other things on the jacket that are important when considering length.

Agreed, the Windows version looks like something from the XP age. Works ok but is ugly as sin and not particularly great to use.

I like it. Very well executed.

Cats are remarkably good at squeezing thru small openings so just a different size door wouldn't necessarily work.

Don't know what more to add. I also use Chrome and without Nitrous its Javascript performance is much worse than Safari and this can show on some sites that use JS a lot. It's apparently due to security concerns but you'd think Apple would be able to solve something like that in all these years.

Most of us aren't really ugly. We may be out of shape or dress poorly but as far as facial features go most aren't beaten with an ugly stick. That means that you can do something about it. Hit the gym (or other physical activity) regularly, get a cool haircut (or maybe try that Jason Statham look if your hair is on

Waiting for jailbreak, as Apple still doesn't apparently understand the value of being able to choose your default programs or at least being able to have the same performance in all browsers (Safari has about 2x JS performance unless you whitelist all other browsers with Nitrous).

Amen to that. Notice that properly fitting dress shoes should fit more snug than sneakers do. Sneakers have tons of padding, dress shoes don't so they should fit like a glove - if they don't you'll hurt your feet.

I still find it silly that despite not getting any real updates for ages, Apple's iWork is still more user friendly than either MS Office or LibreOffice.

I really prefer Press to Feedly on Android. Reeder is by far the best RSS reader on any platform but unfortunately it only works sans-Google Reader on iPhone right now and isn't available for Android in the first place. Press is thankfully fairly close in features and style (although it could do more with gestures for

Agreed. It's also terrible to use on high res displays, just like Win8's Start screen, because it takes the whole screen so you have to mouse around a lot to click things.

I have to try this so I can get rid of those "follow Lifehacker on social media" stuff and those pesky "all the other crap I don't care about on the Gawker network" bullshit. Or you guys could just get rid of it. Just saying.

I totally agree with your advice except using a suit jacket as a sportcoat. It can only work if the fabric or pattern is more casual, but a suit jacket usually looks like it belongs with trousers.

Going thru shoes that quickly sounds really odd or even your expensive shoes were in reality poor quality. I'd rather have a few pairs of nice shoes that I can alternate between (as you generally shouldn't wear the same shoes the next day).

#1 is still less of a risk than having the same password for multiple services which could lead to one being compromised and thus all the rest being compromised. Besides, you probably don't have valuable enough information for anyone to actually bother trying to first acquire your encrypted password database and

Generally the only thing that can't be altered is the shoulders on a suit. So if a jacket fits right on the shoulders but has too short sleeves or too wide waist, check that there's enough material to lengthen the sleeves. The waist can be usually taken in.

They are useful for telling the other participant that you are not at the office or home and thus your messages may be brief as typing on virtual keyboards is still annoying.

I'd also say that Directory Opus is far superior to Xplorer 2. That said, I do feel it is too expensive and as Win7's file manager is actually quite decent I haven't bothered upgrading my DOpus license.

The price varies a lot as far as I know. Some really good trainers can be cheap (but not necessarily "well known"), some expensive ones crap.
