Lots of features already supported in Chrome, Safari and Firefox are not yet even official standards. While IE may implement the standards better than the competition, it will still lag behind in the features that, while not official standards yet, are implemented in other browsers well enough to be considered fully

Interesting that the common thing with many of these seems to be that the trackpad and/or keyboard is a bit crap. What is it with PC manufacturers and subpar trackpads? Apple has made excellent trackpads for several years now yet other companies somehow cannot match them or pay Apple for the appropriate licenses to

Is there any good reason to choose IE over Chrome or Firefox? IE has a slow development cycle and while IE10 finally seems to support most of the things we take for granted in other browsers, it's user interface is still going to be dumbed down yet at the same time slightly unintuitive.

Does this simply change the OSX settings or does it have its own implementation? My experience from years of using Steermouse to get a sensible mouse movement is that a custom implementation is needed to get the mouse moving comfortably.

The controller is one of my concerns as well. Having a bigass keyboard plus a mouse on the sofa isn't comfortable unless you have a table or tray near you. What I would like to see is more SplitFish FragFX style mouse/half-a-pad controllers that combine the best of both: analog stick for precise movement and mouse for

The real issue with notification center is that clearing a notification doesn't actually clear it in the app. You still see the badge icon until you actually go to the app itself. This makes it annoying to get rid of some unnecessary notifications.

Meanwhile, these same countries do nothing about all the scammers, spammers and pirates (whether online or physical) operating in their countries, despite there being laws in place to help with that right now. Oh but of course censoring any political opposition etc is more important.

I think this is the wrong mindset. People are willing to spend lots of money on the computer itself but when it comes to the one thing they'll be looking at all the time they use it, they just get the cheapest crap available. Crap that doesn't do accurate colors, can buzz when brightness is below the

It probably doesn't take into account what people consider acceptable frame rates. For some it must be 60 or more while others are completely fine with better visuals at 30 fps.

I would prefer seeing the simplified version in the first few paragraphs if possible, then followed by the more complex, expert version that adds the necessary depth to the simplified explanation.

Since I work as a web developer, I mostly hand code with Coda 2 and Sublime Text 2. At work we use the CodeIgniter framework as it's lightweight and simple. Unfortunately it also has a number of things missing (some coming in CI 3.0) so I've had to do quite a bit of alterations to it to bend it to my will.

It's quite ok for sports actually. For movies and TV series, definitely needs to be turned off.

I haven't used an antivirus software for years. When I've occasionally tested, I haven't had any malware on my system (running Win7). So yeah, common sense is enough to protect my system.

I wonder if this has more to do with what Spotify is promoting. I think I've seen all of those bands hanging in the "what's new" section despite never listening to any of them.

QWOP, Old Spice Saves The World are low grade and shitty? QWOP has to be one of the most challenging games on the 'net and the Old Spice game is simply pure awesomeness with great graphics and music.

There's lots of things at play in this case.

Is the dude in the pics wearing some sort of traditional American Christmas getup?

Mice have essentially become the same as razors. No matter how many blades you add it doesn't make it better.
