I recall him being accused of cutting courses on the regular by other desert racers after that stuff came out as well. The “controversy” portion of his wiki page is long enough to know how he rolls.

yea he seems to miss a lot of waypoints, cut courses, and get caught with off the wall vehicle modifications...not exactly a letter of the law kind of guy. although I’m sure it’s very political at dakar, even though he’s had issues in different offroad races.

He’s also “under Robby’s wing”, and Robby isn’t know for his strict adherence to “rules” when it comes to dakar and other offroad events...so not surprising.

Well considering they ride balls out in a constant loop of sketchy moments, you can’t dump it every time lowside or you’d never get anywhere ;).

stab, rip, cushion fall, drag to inconspicuous location, wait until the other guards on electronic map come down from hyper alert, smoke cigarette and blow smoke to expose laser alarm....i’m sure there’s more.

Because they couldn’t agree on a budget, not because we didn’t actually have money to distribute. I get paid from that budget, and I never missed a paycheck even with the disagreements. I work with guys that have their entire income provided from the Fed, they still only had their work week cut by a day(for a short

American Expedition Vehicles is an aftermarket Jeep/Chrysler oriented company that has done some special addition vehicles and makes parts and vehicle mod kits. 35" mud tires on Pintler brand wheels, Old Man Emu brand suspension parts, Rokmen (he thinks) upper and lower control arms, Currie brand steering components,

Wow, try any heavy maintenance job...trucks, aircraft, contruction, steel toes keep people from fucking their feet up daily. Even putting heavy tire/wheel combos on a regular vehicle is much more comfortable with steel toes.

Yea we’re really roughin’ it.

It’s just some sandy runways, the chinese numbers are of no consequence in this argument. They do not have the training, the technology, the precision, none of it. As soon as a couple of our bombs hit each “island” they are effectively “defeated”....this isn’t hard to comprehend so not sure why you’re arguing. They

I carefully envelope myself in metal, plastic, and glass when I need to commute in the rain. Almost any manufacturer will do to stay dry, might want to avoid classic soft top Italian types though.

You said defeat the islands, and I’m well aware of the unimpressive chinese technology. If you want to count a little extra flight time from Japan and Korea, go ahead...but from initial contact to islands being unusable(and therefore defeated) will be under an hour. That’s if we used Air Force assets only, and not the

Those islands would be defeated under an hour if we (U.S.) decide that is what’s needed. It’s incredible the underestimation of US military strike power on this blog, even after 9/11 we didn’t turn it on full tilt (we were busy yes, but shit we went into a war zone and generated aircraft with reflective belts on and

Completely untrue, there is a wealth of talent in IndyCar and through Formula SAE...and a general population with a large amount of automotive and speed enthusiasts. The talent is definitely here, and a US base to spin up new mechanics and engineers for the future seasons would be successful as long as the capital is

If Rossi can manage to bring some big American sponsorship with him, maybe after this season if he has the right people working for him, I bet he can nab a seat. That hinges on how much US media exposure Haas can bring to the table. I usually just wait and download the SkyF1 or BBC race because NBCSN is absolute

They were building a whole dedicated F1 building in NC so there should be a US F1 base as well....maybe they are playing the long game in the US looking forward to 2017+ cars? I doubt you can actually throw too many resources at this sport, as long as the cashflow is there.

My Sequoia was built in Indiana, by hard working Americans....I often use that to shut up big 3 assholes touting their cars that were built in Canada and Mexico(which I don’t personally have a problem with).

yea....same same

Being un-greyed would be great.
