It's called Monsterpocalypse. I hate collectible mini games but I drool over the game whenever I see it.

Now playing

A Robot Jox reference without a crotch chainsaw is no Robot Jox reference.

With the weird hipster moustache that's clearly a rakshasa, not a tiger. She forgot the pipe, though.

The IT game was okay, but I could never get the hang of controlling all four characters at once in the sewer scene just before the end.

The sole reason I clicked on this post was to ask that very question. Thanks.

Why would you save this for the end of the day when I don't have time to read the post? Dammit!

Yes, he's the emperor of the Shi'ar empire. And apparently he was part of a super-secret (so secret that Professor X wiped the memory of them from everybody's minds) beta X-Men, but then he got killed and became a villain.

Aww... I was going to say Shatterstar, but you trumped me with Shatterstar v2.0. But say what you will about Adam X, at least he didn't have a rat-tail (and a weird double sword).

Heh, thanks. It was just weird because I've been commenting around here for a while. Oh, I see, maybe it was my first comment on Jezebel. I guess I came over from Giz or io9.

Right. I was just trying to remember if there was a JLU episode with Lobo in it.

And I got beat to the punch!

Wait, the pills made him de-age?

I dislike Card as a person, but I definitely intend to introduce my kids to the Ender series once they get old enough for long form books. I already have the books; it's not as if I'll be enriching Card any more by reading Ender's Game and Shadow to my kids.

That's something that really bothered me about TV Drogo. In the book he was surprisingly tender with Dany, but on the show he was a typical barbarian rapist. It went a long way toward making me like him in the book; I barely cared when he died in the show.

What's that from, Superman: the Animated Series?

The Dresden Files, anyone? Urban magic with detective elements. You could be a wizard, gun-toting mortal, or werewolf. Go up against vampires, ghosts, and gangsters. I'd play it.

The Rock would make a great Lobo. I'm not saying a Lobo movie would be any good, but I've always imagined Lobo talking like a pro wrestler.

TV Carl is nowhere near as hard as comics Carl. I can't see TV Carl doing that. Though comics Carl has had to deal with one thing that TV Carl hasn't had to yet, so maybe that's the difference. Maybe once we get to that point he'll be just as cold.

Daryl is the Tyrese stand-in. He's been Rick's second in command for the past couple of episodes and he's on the verge of hooking up with Tyrese's squeeze, Carol. I wish they'd do more with T-Dog, too, but it looks like we've already got our Tyrese.

I think that was an industrial fan. It looks hot on that set.
