Oh come on. They're all too happy to spend trillions in taxpayer money, just not on what the other side wants to spend it on. It's commendable, awesome even, that they're trying something different with the controller. I'm just not sure if different is better in this case. I'm certainly looking forward to hearing first impressions on this.
Everybody should just accept that Half-Life 3 is dead. Then if Valve ever does get around to releasing it, it will be an awesome surprise, but in the meantime people won't be getting their hopes up in vain every time anybody in the company opens their mouth.

Well yes, but what I meant was that many of those "hundreds of games" might actually be streamed from Valve's servers, thus bypassing the need for developers to actually port anything to the platform.
