You are probably seeing the result of a poor source picture. I used to look at HDTVs in stores for years and I was convinced that tv sets in the 50to 60"+ range required the viewer to sit at *least* 12 feet away so as to not notice any artifacts.

My 1st gen Samsung Focus is a year and 5 months old and everything is still smooth like butter. My friend just got an Android phone - the model name eludes me now - and my single core Focus is as fast and as fluid as his multi core phone.

Scanning the what's new pivot in my Me tile shows me thumbnails of images and also thumbnails of the various YouTube posts. Maybe I'm not exactly sure of what you're alluding to...or maybe I'm just easy to please.
