@the_amazing_doug: Well..I use google exchange sync on my WinMo phone and the emails get to my phone within 2-4 seconds of getting to the gmail server.

@the_amazing_doug: With Exchange you can get push email from gmail account as well as sync your google calender and contacts to your phone.
