Actually, no. 99% of the people tell the new members to take those off. They damage the paint underneath. If you really like the look, you should use a vinyl strip. I sold my set for $70 on ebay... I guess what they say about one man’s trash is right.

When the markup is 80-100%, yea not all of them will sell. In fact, you have to be some sort of a rich idiot to buy one above msrp. 

Yes technically those will “protect” the bottom of the bumper. However, the dirt and grit gets in between them and the paint which acts like sandpaper.

Dude I have a 2018 Scat Pack. It’s totally stock height, but the front bumper sits lower than my 2016 Mustang GT that was lowered 1.25 inches. WTF?! The only way to safely lower these is with air ride. Otherwise I couldn’t drive it anywhere. 

Yea lets add external oil coolers so that a pebble can cause an oil leak. 

Usually the new engines don’t need the break in. The transmission and the diff are a different story though.
