I really don’t get all the hate for the usb flap. I use the magnetic charger (discontinued on Z4) and never open my usb. The flap also keeps out dirt that degrades the port. The usb port is the weakest link on smartphones and is why I would rather have faster wifi take that space and I’m also against usb-c on phones.

Sony phones have holes for lanyards, I just add a floaty if I’m on the lake or ocean.
